I'm currently installing the game.
I noticed there are 2 bik files: Extra_DNF_2003 and Extra_DNF_2006, I assume these are never before seen videos of how it looked in 2003 and 2006.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."

Is it normal that after the SimPack asks for the second .sid file shortly after that the install is done message comes up while in the backround I can still see files getting unpacked? After clicking OK or whatever the installer quit all together. Seems like some janky ass installer when I got the feeling it didn't manage to unpack everything it needed. How big is the game folder suppose to be?

Consolitis there should be four such extra .bik archives, not two. Smile

And the last set of images since my previous post (five pages back.) about the endgame.

(Got busy with a lot of other stuff this afternoon so I have a little bit left, one or two levels max I think, final playtime will likely be just around eight to eight and a half hours.)

Been playing a bit of the multiplayer and it's actually pretty fun. Hopefully they push out the dedicated server files like they said they would.

Liking the mood of the game so far. Graphics are old but generally wll done, though I haven't gone to the outdoors levels yet, i'm sure I will be annoyed by a thing or two when I get to them.

The initial idea as per a preview two years back or when it was had it so you thought you played the game and it looked a bit sub-par, then you finished the level and it showed that other sequence going back to the penthouse and Duke looking at the screen showing that end sequence image and with him holding a controller (Joke here about DNF and the time it's taken to release it.), this shown with better detail and such. Smile
(Now however both look rather dated, though not horrible or anything like that.)

Any special drivers for nVidia? Some really horrible microstutters on a 480GTX. They come and go seemingly at random.

Have you disabled FXAA? FSAA works better.

Correct but the other 2 are the 1998 and 2001 trailers, it's not unseen material. Smile

Then why not try the newer ones, .33 or even the .36 (for Quadro but they work just fine with a modded inf)

I am having the exact same issue. It goes from 1_0 to 1_2 and never asks for the 1_1.sid file. Therefore the installation is incomplete. All i have is a bunch of asset folders but no shortcut to start the game. What kind of a shitty installer is this?
