Bobby's no idiot. There's a reason Activision/Blizzard is making more cash than ever before.
He's also correct, in a sense. For instance, BC2 didn't have split-screen on consoles, nor will BF3 from what I've gathered. The CoD games do. While I don't own a console, all my non-computer-nerd friends do, and when we play together we're always playing CoD split-screen. As such, all my console-owning friends end up buying the new CoD games, but not the new BF games.
Just one example of how BF3 will lose out, despite probably being a much better game.

Quote: | “Modern Warfare 3 is big,” Bowling told Gamefront in an interview embedded below. “It has that epic single player campaign and it’s all about taking players places they’ve never been before.
“… Our philosophy on the campaign has always [been] the same. We never set out … to make X hours of game time. We write a story and the story dictates the length.
So – how long will that be then?
“The game’s not finished yet. I can’t say it’s X amount of hours cause we don’t know.”
Rats. However, Bowling did hint that fans won’t be disappointed.
“Coming out of Modern Warfare 2, we did have this very big vision, and a lot of that was a by-product of having the 25, 30 million players that we have.
“So Modern Warfare 3 is about the fans – in every aspect of the game.”
Modern Warfare 3 is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November. |
Another 4 hour long campaign incoming

A game about the fans. The current ones. The derps. In other words, a game of the same caliber as MW2 or Black Ops only derpolized more.

I'm sorry for the guy, because I generally feel sorry for retarded people, who are so retarded, they are unaware of their own retardation. I don't know, I just feel bad for them, that gaming is their only joy, because let's face it, he is not going to get along with any people...
