Open up the ALI213.ini

first select 16:9 or 16:10 and then choose the resolution you want it !

I was able to play the steam clonedvd in dx9 mode before I applied those missing steam files. Now it wont even start. Applied the crack again just in case but still. I'll wait for a proper release I guess.
Edit: Nevermind, managed to get it working again.

It's more akin to the second game, rather than Guerilla. Only thing this is sharing with Guerilla is the destruction and the first name of the main character.

Linear progression but the same type of gameplay mechanics and most weapons and vehicle sections (The few that remains of those vehicles at least.) will feel very familiar.
Focuses on story and tries to be a bit darker and more gripping but they really spam those alien insect type monsters in every corridor so it gets a bit stale for longer period playtroughs.
If you liked the more sandbox type of play and open world mechanics this will feel a bit cramped and limited in turn.
(It's a interesting return to the earlier FPS type Red Faction games but it doesn't reach all the way and feels a bit under utilized, game engine is better and more fixed up now though, hah.)

This game is pure fun, absolutely love it, unlike that borefest that Guerilla was. It really reminds me of the old Red Faction games, only it's in 3rd person.

Finished the game with the second rin loader. Not a single crash or anything (DX9)
Version played: Steam clone, unpacked with phoenix, Ali213 Loader Patchfix2
Short review:
Grafic: It works, dont expect crysis though. Animations are decent enough. Lot of copy pasted stuff on the walls though. You can't miss the fact that its a console port.
Sound: Nothing really bad to say there. Only the bad 1liners put it down a bit.
Controls: Lots of consolederpness here. Autoaim to the next enemy when you hit the right mousebutton (I guess it what that or slow moving creatures). Only 4 guns and a D-Pad that showed up even though I dont have one.
Guns: I must say some of the guns were really fun to use. Others just crap. Sad thing here was the 4 gun limit. Loved to use the Flamethrower (ok plasma) to take down crowds of critters and buildings. Rail and MG for long Range fights. And later on blackhole gun for groups. 2 more gunslots and it would have been more fun in my book.
Story: Well its obvious they didn't spend millions for decent story writers. Seen better but also have seen worse.
Summary: All in all a fun game. I liked the fast moving and wall crawling enemys. Got some twitch gameplay elements in if you didnt resort to the autoaim function. Good timewaster until something better comes out.
