Not really sure why there isn't a topic about this yet..
Anyways.
Turn-based tactical strategy, where both players' turns play out at the same time. It's an indie game, and currently in closed beta. Pre-ordering it gives you access to the beta, as well as a free copy for a friend (who also gets beta access).
I bought it just now pretty much. Had a game of it. It's pretty rad tbh, I'll have fun with this.
Well, you get two copies of the game for that price.
Edit: Had a pretty cool match. I'm really getting into this.
If they were to sell one copy for $13 or whatever. $15 for one, $26 for two, etc... I'd probably grab it. Will see how it progresses and if they release a demo

I'm hoping they release a demo and/or THETA or someone cracks this soon. Willing to support the indies, but not offering single copies annoys me (and pushes the game out of my price range).
+1 ... I don't like having to find someone else to split the double pack with. Why do they have to get ppl willing to pay for stuff to turn into salesmen for them? It's a cheap and tacky ploy. Ask a straight price for a product instead of this maniplulative bullshit.

The 2nd copy is provided for free, it's not a "double pack".

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

hangs for me at the "Making a shape connection..." screen. Just sits there.
OK, here's what I think the problem is/was. The game tries to phone home to 64.31.63.226 (a hosting company in Texas?? the company and their server is GB ) so I blocked it. Then, shortly after that it's just checking for a network connection at all (to localhost). It appears that if you block ANY connection it hangs. Just block the outside host though and it works.
This game is awesome.
