Guys, I said I hacked IO's servers and got the exclusive interview...

So in other words, they want the game to be like Splinter Cell Conviction and abandon all the things that made Hitman so great? WTF!! Looks like the true stealth action games are dying. Hitman was, without question IMHO, the best of all the Stealth games. I loved Thief and the old Splinter Cell games, but Hitman had so many cool, creative ways to do in your targets. Glass bottom hot tub anyone? So now it's a pure action title it sounds like. Meh. I'm disappointed to see it abandon its roots. It may be cool and awesome and all that shit, but it won't be Hitman to me.

The sad thing in all this is not even the people falling for the joke, but the fact that such an interview can be considered even remotely real.

What does THAT tell us about the general state game development? Smile

@IOInteractive: First concept art doesn't look like a stealh game. More like a movie/end od Contracts. We should be worried?

@Lupeks Nope. No need to worry. Hitman is at heart a stealth game. That's not changing at all.

They will show it at E3.

Interview with the producer.

Quote:
"The Hitman games of past have been very hardcore,” said Tore Blystad, game director at IO Interactive. “Even though the fantasy of the Hitman universe has a very universal appeal, the games have been so difficult to play, that it’s been more of an acquired taste. The biggest challenge that we had with this game was to make it much broader in every sense, so that it was easier to play and more accessible

Most of today's games could be produced by machines... insert shallow raw materials in a magical box and PUFF, here you have another shitty new game. No soul or passion towards the product whatsoever

Yeah, the original team should update Blood Money so that you can't actually get up from your funeral, it'd be a great way to end a wonderful series. Sad

All the Blood Money team is left, now we're stuck with people that made the Kane & Lynch garbage, this game is doomed...

This is sad but many people already feared it... derpification here we come!
However I least expected it from IO, since their games have always been rather old school.

fucking arseholes..why does every game have to be made for fucking dribblers to be able to play them without effort.

same with movies,it's all so fucking derp'y.

i'm beginning to think david icke is onto something by saying the population is being made as dimm as fucking possible to keep them brainwashed & too stupid to realise their all sheeple being led into a microchipped slave race of fucking idiots.

hitman was'nt difficult IO you fucking morons you just want to milk it by making it easy enough for the underage kid's to play so they tell their friends & they play it cause it's so easy & no doubt will have the new age press X for awesome bullshit for the cabbage people to think they just did the awesome themselves.

derp it = a deffinate pirate & a middle finger to IO.
real hitman game = purchase & a little faith back in your shitty company.

well, that quote could be interpreted to what i've been saying all along; the missions and concept are golden - but the engine and core mechanics are awkward as shit
contracts was the first one that updated gameplay enough to make it even playable and blood money was even better
but it's still awkward as hell to control
the first few games were just plain unplayable
give me the same missions with a proper engine and we're go
