I've played the demo on my derpbox. Don't bother it's not worth the download or your time. It's bugged eg. you are teleported to diffrent place when "dialog" occurs, sometimes the text in dialog doesn't appear. The graphics are fugly - Titan Quest looks x100 times better then this. I couldn't bear it after 5 minutes of playing. Oh! Did I mentioned it's fugly?

I like the email I got from atari about the release of daggerdale. "The way Dungeons and dragons was meant to be played" -GamePro. I would seriously want to know who the fucking retard at gamepro said that, whoever he is he should be shot in the head.

Atari are their own worst fucking enemy. So far the game is only available on XBLA (and yes lolozaur, a JTAG rip came out the MINUTE it was launched on XBL) with the PC download "sometime" in the future, with the DVD copy nowhere to be seen. No doubt Atari will blame piracy for shitty sales >_>

Sabin the game (Supposedly.) is available via the above four listed US only (I guess.) retailers (Amazon.com has it in stock and have been selling since the 24th.) but the digital world-wide release for some reason is pushed back to the 20th somewhere next month according to the Gamersgate.co.uk date which lists the game as coming soon.
(And the previous posts and articles about the release date.)
(Posted a link to the Amazon article about the game on the previous page I think.)

I have no idea about the protection but the limited availability also hinders things a bit, should a clone release appear it would probably be cracked and released within a day or so.

I bought the game (it only cost me $10) and I believe the protection is Steam. There is a Steam Service exe on the disk. I might play a little tonight but right now it's game 7 of the NHL playoffs. I could care less who wins, being as how I'm a Blackhawks fan, but good hockey is good hockey.

Downside to Steam unfortunately, it'll force a update once it's installed and as Steam updates by replacing files it'll require a bit more to download.
(You can check the download tab itself for a estimated total size of said download.)

How the fuck can the game require Steam, yet not be available ON Steam? That makes no goddamn sense. Atari are just a bunch of incompetent muppets.

Digital downloads will come later on, unsure for how long it'll be delayed in favor of this limited retail release and X360 LIVE arcade release, weird to set it up like that though.
(There's a AppID and everything for the game but there's no store related info or similar I assume.)

You weren't kidding. After taking almost 1.5 hrs to install then the game updated itself and took almost 3-4 hours more with my crappy dsl. I swear if I knew how to hack this myself I would. That's just retarded for a legit game. I'll just keep telling myself: it was only $10, it was only $10...

If it uses the same camera that the console version uses it'll be a delete after a few minutes for me.
It was spinning around like crazy(without them doing it themselves) when I saw a gameplay video..

It's a low budget (And really low price at 10$) D&D 4th edition - which is reduced and simplified as far as I understood it, yet this is still cut down further - dungeon delver game of sorts, simple hack & slash action adventure I'd probably call it with some RPG elements and of course it uses the D&D license to some extent. (Bestiary and character class archetypes I think, pretty sure there were just four of those though.)
Or so I've understood the current comments about the game from what I've read and what's discussed in the console section.
(Hunted should come out in a few hours so I've been following that lately as well though critique has been equally harsh by some.)
Might be fun for a while but I expect it to be rather simple and pretty short but we'll see.

Wait a bit, it's almost installed. I'll check if it works or not, unless somebody else finds out sooner.
