I got it working. It seems that what I downloaded was the same netshow crack, but with the name as the skidrow's crack.

Managed to download that free cars pack, but I still don't understand why it doesn't want to save, even with skidrow's crack. Not going to bother anyway, until tomorrow probably.
for me it saves fine but cars pack dont work

Try to put them into "database" folder of the game. DLC content is located
C:/Users/Your User/AppData/Local/Microsoft/XLive/DLC/2-3 folder with crap/Content
after that it appears ingame but it still says that i need to buy it on marketplace

So it have to be other dlc pack or something. I have only this.
When you go in menu to My Dirt --->Extras--->Add-ons it should have Free Cars Pack - Owned.

HD4850 here and it runs the benchmark with 54 average and 45 minimum fps Very Happy

At 1920x1080 with everything on the maximum setting (no aa, forced 8xaf in the drivers)

Good optimization. I'd say this feels just right, about 90% less derp in this game compared to dirt 2, which I own Smile

If this game just had a level editor. I'd LOVE to create maps with MUCH narrower roads and a lot more bumps! Underground like gravel is pretty good simulated, but of course you can't call this game a simulation Smile

i have a problem with copying the crack over... it comes up with a virus for 2 of the files.. which is prob a false alarm, so i ignore that...but then i get a windows pop up saying must allow for administration rights...and then i get an error after saying.. you require permission from everyone to make changes to this file... WTF!

Better than Dirt 2, but still unresponsive as hell, even flicking is a chore and throttle doesn't do much. I also don't know why everyone says it looks so awesome; environments are mediocre, and interiors just look terrible :/

Like I said though, it is at least better than that previous piece of shit.

2006 graphics - check
Crappy sound - check
Even Shorter stages - check
Dumb american dudes saying shit for dumb american audience- check
No real or semi-real physics (hell i doubt there's even any physics going on) - check

So dirt 1 > dirt 2 > dirt 3 ... i can't really wait for the next piece of shit. Maybe they'll do a train simulator next since the cars already behave like on tracks.

I gotta shoot Flatout to cleanse my soul.

Anyone else having audio static/hiss problems? I get it no matter if i select software or this rapture3d BS they decided to include in lieu of any real hardware support. My drivers are up to date and I don't get audio problems in any of my other games or apps.

Arcade arcade arcade.... however I like it! Smile nothing ground breaking, just fun.Amazing with a G27 FFB... Specially when you get air and the wheel goes totally fucking limp on you, its like ARGh PANIC!

Changing of surfaces changes the stiffness response of the wheel, its really amazing as long as you've got it setup right, so many options.. Game runs well and I did about 7 races and didnt really think it was tough at all. I set it to advanced off teh bat, is there another difficulty section somewhere or is it just piss easy?

More interested to try Shfit 2 TBH.

That was the thing that amazed me the most in this game. How fucking dumb can you be to put an autosteer option in a racing game. I'm pretty sure it won't be an option in the next game Laughing.
