I got it working. It seems that what I downloaded was the same netshow crack, but with the name as the skidrow's crack.

Try to put them into "database" folder of the game. DLC content is located
C:/Users/Your User/AppData/Local/Microsoft/XLive/DLC/2-3 folder with crap/Content | after that it appears ingame but it still says that i need to buy it on marketplace

So it have to be other dlc pack or something. I have only this.
When you go in menu to My Dirt --->Extras--->Add-ons it should have Free Cars Pack - Owned.

HD4850 here and it runs the benchmark with 54 average and 45 minimum fps
At 1920x1080 with everything on the maximum setting (no aa, forced 8xaf in the drivers)
Good optimization. I'd say this feels just right, about 90% less derp in this game compared to dirt 2, which I own
If this game just had a level editor. I'd LOVE to create maps with MUCH narrower roads and a lot more bumps! Underground like gravel is pretty good simulated, but of course you can't call this game a simulation

No mouse support in the menus. I can see they really put forth their best effort with this one...

i have a problem with copying the crack over... it comes up with a virus for 2 of the files.. which is prob a false alarm, so i ignore that...but then i get a windows pop up saying must allow for administration rights...and then i get an error after saying.. you require permission from everyone to make changes to this file... WTF!

Better than Dirt 2, but still unresponsive as hell, even flicking is a chore and throttle doesn't do much. I also don't know why everyone says it looks so awesome; environments are mediocre, and interiors just look terrible :/
Like I said though, it is at least better than that previous piece of shit.

2006 graphics - check
Crappy sound - check
Even Shorter stages - check
Dumb american dudes saying shit for dumb american audience- check
No real or semi-real physics (hell i doubt there's even any physics going on) - check
So dirt 1 > dirt 2 > dirt 3 ... i can't really wait for the next piece of shit. Maybe they'll do a train simulator next since the cars already behave like on tracks.
I gotta shoot Flatout to cleanse my soul.

Anyone else having audio static/hiss problems? I get it no matter if i select software or this rapture3d BS they decided to include in lieu of any real hardware support. My drivers are up to date and I don't get audio problems in any of my other games or apps.

I thought the female voice was British actually... Your Mechanic is American I think, and they do talk too much IMO, having fun with it though, all maxed out as it can be on the 60" plasma 1080p

Yeah, you gotta do a custom difficulty to get everything turned off. The game has an option for fucking autosteering

Is it really true autosteering or just some badly named steering assist feature?
