Missions are designed so that's not always a huge problem I find - it's annoying though I'll give you that - and for some reason they removed the 'taxi' feature (when you got killed or nabbed in Vice City you could 'hail a cab' and it'd drop you off at the mission start again).
Still, it's not too bad.

True, and I thought the same before I played it - but when you eventually get the game GTA is very remote/distant. Not sure how to put it. You don't really feel like your in a huge city, it's all a blur really.
Great game though.
Not as open-ended or sophisticated as we initially anticipated when the hype surrounding it's pre-release occured though.
Robberies are very strict linear and static missions that suck all of the fun out of them for example. |

I cant wait for this game...I will kill everything , there will be blood , guts , limbs all over the SAN ANDREAS . Whole town will be one big slaugther house.

too bad there s still no multiplayer, i mean how hard can that be?
its enough if they just toss in 8 players into the world, they dont need to create any game modes or shit.
they can just remove the missions, toss in 8 (or even 32 ) players and thats it, that d be one of the most fun multiplayer games around.
for all the ppl that are waiting for the pc version but havent played the ps2 one,
this game is literally 3 times as big as vice city, well actually the size of the whole map is 3 times as big as vice city's, if you add to that the whole new vehicles, the gang battles and a far longer game, its more than just lousy
3 times .
