DSP is one of the biggest console derps on youtube.
You should see the "Gaming PC" he bought like last week. He got an i7 950 over a Sandy Bridge, and 16gb of RAM. Apparently he wanted 24gb of RAM...

Watching that made me mentally cringe.
Part 12 was possibly worse where he yells at the game for: 1) not recharging mana when he has his magic shield running and 2) not being able to block without vigor.

Enemies don't really block and counter on easy so the simplest would have been to reduce the difficulty level, plus what other people pointed out both here and in those comments.
(You don't get QTE encounters either that can kill you.)

You use them to mutate your abilities/skills on the character screen. Any abilities that can mutate will have small slots next to them, much the same as weapons and armour do. Use the mutagens there.

According to this guy, every battle then, was won by the first one to swing, because apparently, blocking in the middle of being attacked doesn't happen in his world. I mean, it makes no sense either, right?
You know the saddest thing? BioWare looks at this video and says: yeah, games are too hard, let's make it so every idiot can play it. Fucktards.

He doesn't play on easy - shields don't block anything on easy and like JBeckman said enemies don't block.
