i noticed 6 games were released yesterday (27th).. anybody know anything about them ?
1)Predator Concrete Jungle
2)TT Superbikes (sounds interesting)
3)Stella Deus
4)Motorcross Mania
5)Resident Evil Outbreak 2 (sounds a big title to me?)
6)Spy vs Spy

most are crap.
stella deus looks like a nice old skool 2d strategic rpg tho... outbreak 2 looks good too but i'll wait 4 or 5 months for the pal release so i can take it online.
don't i need some magical illegal thing?

Umm, you can take the NTSC version online. Its 4 players.

yeah outbreak is great! dunno why gamespot only gave it a 6.6. i don't like gamespot anyway. u can go online with the ntsc version if u have a PAL PS2. i did it too

Unless he got the DNAs and patched the game with it. Thats what I did with FN Round 2.
Unless your talking about the check for the actual region of the PS2.

hey guys, yeah i have a pal console with matrix infinity... i dnas patch the pal games, but not the ntsc games coz the dnas patch does not take care of the region check, as i found out when i tried it with burnout 3 ntsc...
can anyone confirm that the ntsc version of this game works online with a pal ps2? or that the matrix takes care of the regio check somehow?
don't i need some magical illegal thing?

Yep, it ain't bad... btw, MotoGP 3 by Climax will come out for Xbox and PC this fall and it looks pretty cool especially the new extreme mode.

is it confirmed that the PAL version is going to be online?
they removed the multiplayer from the PAL release of the first Outbreak. that pretty much forces us PAL users to get the NTSC release and use a machine id changer
hope Outbreak 2 PAL is online... they should re-release the first one too

They removed multiplayer on the PAL version? How stupid is that. The whole idea with the game is multiplayer, and they remove it. Talk about idiotic move by capcom. :/

The biggest idiotic move by Capcom was them not adding voice chat or even a keyboard to in game play of Resident Evil Outbreak 2. Instead, you play with other players who are quite new to the scenarios, end up wandering around aimlessly, and a total of hours spent on a scenario doing shit in the game. Fuckin' players.
I spent an hour on the last scenario and at the end this player decided to run ahead and finish the game, and triggered the ending cutscene of the scenario. In case you havent played the Outbreak yet, if someone goes ahead and does the finish, players who are left behind when they go to the end, they dont finish the game, or get the points. Its retarded man.
Capcom needs to add a fuckin voice chat of some sort to their online RE games.

yep thats right, it became an offline online game. all we're left with is the shitty AI. that's why i got an NTSC version - but of course i can't play it because i have a PAL console. will have to see if i can get this machine changer doohickey to work

I know alot of gamers out there are retarded, but please. It would help if we had a fucking way to communicate with each other in the game.
Oh I forgot to tell you guys the funny part yesterday. We were playing the first scenario which is Wild Things. Here I was in the dam flower dome, trying to get the object I needed to backtrack back to the office to put it in the statue to get a certain aligator key to carry onto the Plaza. All I had to tell these stupid retards was the wait and go commands your characters shout. Anyway, I went to backtrack and put it in which took me about a good 5 minutes to get back there. When I put it in the statue in the inner office, my team was already scattered around the lake side area. There was about one guy who was already waiting at the aligator door when I came back. I was playing the main RPD officer Kevin, and I had no ammo. Why? Because my stupid team took it all and wasted it by shooting at the walls. So here I am with 2 bullets left going to fight the lion boss outside on the streets past the plaza. So I'm thinking, ok I dont have enough ammo to kill this guy or I would by myself, So I went back to get my team. Than meanwhile the idiot in front of me decided it would be good to fight the lion boss himself on the very hard mode. Big trouble. He had to die off screen because more of my team were coming back in 1s to take their shots at the lion boss. If anyone played that scenario on very hard difficulty, you'd know that along with the lion boss comes two female lions helping it out. So my team gets whiped out and we already wasted 2 hours when really we should of done the scenario in 15 mins max. And I didnt go all this way with this bull shit to not pick up the points for this game. So I kept looking for 10 minutes for ammo, found about a bunch including a shotgun which was more than enough to kill the lion. However, I assumed since my other 3 guys apart of the team already weakened the 3 lions. So I decided to face him and I was wrong!!!! Fuckin' idiots didnt even shoot at the dam boss and 2 lions once. So I end up killing the boss along with the 2 lions, ending cutscene comes by where I escaped by the subway train. I came back into the lobby and fuckin flipped on those people
Oh man, RE OutBreak 2 has potential to be great, but they fuck it up with no in game chat. I hope they fix that in Outbreak 3. I also hear their adding more scenarios for OutBreak 2 as downloadable content online. Thats gonna be great.
Lesson Learned: Before playing this game online please make sure you have the tv and game by ur computer where you can talk to your team signed online while doing so. Or atleast talk on the mic or phone. That helps.

Hah, you havent heard nothing yet. Another thing I did last night was the Underbelly scenario. Towards the end (bad idea on the developers part), you fight a bunch of giant roaches. Its in the subway tunnels. You know where the trains go on the rails? Problem is the fight takes place by the dam end of the east tunnel, so once you beat that and trigger a cutscene, you walk into the dark area which loads the next section of the tunnels. Than the insects still chase ya and heres where the prob begins. Because theres swarms that jump out at you when ur trying to make ur escape to the subway train, you can screw up and hit back and that makes you go back into the east tunnel which creates a loading time again. Than you miss the fuckin' train Happened to me last night when I tried saving this guy who was playing George the doctor, shooting fuckin healing capsules at the dam roaches LMFAO. So he was injured and I was kind enough to hand him medical kit spray. He uses it than more creatures jump out and everyone flys back into the east tunnel loading time and misses the dam train.
Luckily, everyone was left alive, but we had to reset the game because of that gay player.

Well, I dont think the running back thing was everyones fault, because once you go past the east tunnel where the train is to leave the game and end the scenario, its the devs fault IMO because after you go into the next loading zone on the screen, why make it so your so close to the loading zone you came out of, that when those fuckin roaches jump ya, you end up running back into the east tunnel. By the time you come back the next loading zone which u left from, the train already leaves.
This still wouldnt of had happened if that dam George the doctor wasnt fuckin' shooting healing capsules at the roaches I guess the guy didnt know the difference between a .45 handgun and a gun that looks like a revolver, that shoots healing capsules. And those capsules are used to be shot at your team to heal them when their in trouble.
I dont know what I hate more. The stupid players or the fact that we cant talk in the game. When someone says come here or go, or wait. Thats not enough to understand much. For instance, when you need to back track to get an item to finish a scenario, and your char says wait, your team doesnt know anything except the command wait.
Dam. And to top it all off they made alot of the scenarios insanely hard for new players who join.
The worst part of all of this is that you have the ability in some scenarios to trigger cutscenes ahead of the ones earlier. So for example:
You can trigger later cutscenes in the scenario WT and your team will probably end up forgetting to trigger the ones earlier in the game such as the one where you trap the zombie elephant in its cage. Real gay.
