You mean developers in general? I wouldn't expect the sudden shift in their game design philosophy. Even if TW2 sells great it won't change anything. It's obvious to everyone that there is still a lot of money in PC market but the problem is that there is MORE money in console market, so don't expect every developer skipping console market and moving back to PC only, even if TW2 sells in 5mil copies. Won't happen, sorry.

Nobody expects that.
What could happen is developers putting more effort into their ports, but with Blizzard and Valve games already selling so much you'd think they would've gotten the hint already.

Of course it will. When they see a polish developer starting a "new" franchise (based on books, but new gaming franchise) and are having so much success, they'll want to copy it.
That's how the fuckers work, trying to copy Gears of War, Call of Duty, WoW, farmville lol ...
I'm hoping franchises like Mass Effect and The Witcher will bring action RPG games higher up in their priorities. Maybe we'll see an Aliens RPG shooter ! Woot !
Or KOTOR 3 at some point ...

yes, human intelligence follows a normal distribution, derps outnumber us by far.
its even worse if you consider that its usually younger people that play video games and the younger ones are not so smart (yet), this lowers the intelligence of the target audience even further.

Where have you been the last couple of years?
Dragon Age is a copy of The Witcher. Only with 'traditional' classes. |

Didn't you guys know? The word "crisis/crysis" didn't exist before the game Crysis, just like the templars didn't exist before Assassin's Creed which obviously created the templars.
