oh jeez i was joking about da2, theres no comparison between these games 
and neon, i would have preferred option b, thanks. 100%. if it'd be option b, i WOULD have bought the game, most fucking definately.
doesnt matter what i say, the way your head it, no matter what i say youll dismiss it as irrelevant.
but the POINT, is that at the end of the day, I DIDNT FEEL LIKE CDP GAVE A FUCK ABOUT ME - so tell me why i should give a fuck about them?

anyway, whatever. dont want to argue about it. ive put this behind me and im fine with it.
and rather than insulting YOU, ill just hope - for your sake - that no developer YOU like ever shits in YOU and makes you feel miserable and insignificant, especially after youve done nothing but support them.
lets just focus on whats important - im sure this WILL be a fantastic and incredibly enjoyable game, and i really look forward to it.

I have to admit i would have pirated it as well(im not a rpg guy,and cant get into first part), but those last trailers are so fucking epic and the game looks so good that even a guy like me who rather doesnt play rpgs gonna love it. Cant wait!

chiv, the fact that you still are unable to say how CDP ignored you, alienated you or shat on you, or made you feel miserable and insignificant, only proves my earlier point that you make up excuses to pirate this game.

actually i did type out and posted quite a large explanation as to WHY i feel this way, and what cdp did.. or didnt, do... but deleted it, because i really dont want to get into an argument with you on this.
it doesnt matter. MY reasons for feeling this way are mine - you would NEVER accept them, because you havent experienced them for yourself, so the outcome would be exactly the same... that you would say its irrelivant and silly.. so meh.
i WILL say one last thing though.
why would i preorder the CE last year, and wait till a couple of days ago to cancel the order, UNLESS it was a significant issue TO ME - you simply cant argue that i was never going to buy it, or wasnt damn dedicated at one point TO buying it...

yeah you can  all you want, but it doesnt matter. your buying the game, and i wont.. you feel cdp is awesome, and i dont.. why is this such an issue to you.

Honestly, I'm quite sure that if they actually didn't release the game in Australia/NZ because of one stupid quest, THEN many people would actually feel betrayed and left out. They would've raged about it (with chiv, I'm quite sure, on the frontlines) and then I could actually understand that, because they would've a reason to.
The game's not censored in my country. It's not censored in almost any other. It's not the dev's fault, hell, it's not even the publisher's, that laws in your part of the world are just plainly fucked up. They chose the lesser evil, and at the same time, they gave some effort so that people who do want, can get the game without censorship anyway, and for a fair price too. If that ain't enough, I can't guess what is...
Having said that, though, it's your money and your choice. I'm not gonna criticise anyone because he decides not to buy a game (this one, or any other). I just don't get your reasons, because to me, they seem as much blown out of proportions as neon's fanatical raging

I do understand chiv. He just doesn't want to buy inferior (minor censored version).
If I would shell out the money for the game, it would only be full 100% complete version, not some regional butchered released (however minor), that has less content then "warez" edition.

ehhh see the thing is, if i could NEVER have bought the game in this country, then i would have HAD to have bought it - from day one - in another country... and id have accepted that.
but to preorder the game last YEAR? the collectors edition? before even having seen the lovely screenshots and the videos - showing blind faith, you might say, and trust in cdp...
then the cenrorship hit, and i actually asked cdp about what this would mean for NZ gamers caught up in this... asking if there would be a patch EVENTUALLY, or if there was even a possibility that the censorship could be removed by the community themselves? but they ignored the question and never bothered answering... treated the censorship as a total non issue.
so yeah, i put my hand up, i admit i took it personally.. but if they wont give me the time of day, after showing them blind faith with my preorder... eh i wont apologise or shed a tear for cancelling the order, and pirating an uncut version.
silly to you all? sure, no doubt... but to me... hey, im a pirate, just like everyone else here... if you ignore me and tell me im not worth your time? then guess what, youre not worth mine

and heres the kicker. if they would have even responded saying there was NO way to remove the censorship, i can honestly.. hand on my heart... say i would have bought the game. i mean just show me you care, cdp, thats ALL I WANTED... ACKNOWLEDGE MY CONCERN! it takes 5 seconds to say 'no patch, sorry'...
its really being ignored and cdp saying it was a non-issue, and that poor ol chiv here... *sniff* wasnt even worth a second of their time, that i canceled my order.

sure, they made a no censorship promise... and i UNDERSTAND that they couldnt control what namco did... I GET THAT... but what annoyed me was that they applied a simple 'patch' to the situation, and then didnt even bother to discuss the issue... which i think NEEDED discussing amongst those affected, especially AFTER their no censorship promise.
and VGA, actually its WORSE than that. the fuckers treated me LIKE i was an australian, even though im NOT AUSTRALIAN!
how would you like to be treated like an asian. yeah, exactly it hurts.
