Since I noticed some DLC talk etc. I'd like to point out that after you purchase the game on GoG, you get the confirmation e-mail that, among other stuf, says:
"The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings CD-Key
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Using the CD-Key is not required to play, but we recommend you register your copy of The Witcher 2 with it as it grants you access to direct updates, additional language packs, future free DLC and more.
Make sure to keep this email so if you ever need your CD Key again, you'll know where to find it!"

They said little things will be released for free, but there's the possibility for paid DLC which will be more elaborate.

Well, if they release stuff like for example, Fallout 3 guys did, then paying for it is ok I think, cause the FO 3 DLC was mostly, really good and added quite a lot of extra hours to the game.

eh to be honest... dlc is dlc.. who is going to pay for that shit.
a proper 10-15 hour expansion pack like what da:o had, fair enough... but dlc is meant to be pirated. no ifs or buts.

To be honest, I am not a big fan of the whole DLC concept in modern games. I think it is terrible and in games like Call of Derp it divides the player base. Expansion is much better.

What i hate about the entire DLC concept are those 30-90 minute side missions that get released after you completed the full game. I rarely wanna go back to a game once i completed it. Its like jerking off after you just blew your load.

DLC can be good if the developers do it right. It has to add to the game in a meaningful way, not just some side missions or a new hat. Castlevania for 360 did the concept right, it adds to the story and I was actually excited to buy it. Also the DLC for GTA4 was good. But for most parts DLCs are just to milk the game.

Yeah, those are good DLC. Dragon Age 2 Prince DLC or whatever it is called was awful. Cause the guy is a part of the main plot, yet they took it out and sold it as DLC. There is more examples like this (Call of Derp).
