Remember; Unreal Tournament's SP was MP with bots; so it CAN be done properly (very rarely) Smile

Even with bots, I can play any of the UT games until my eyes bled. THOSE are examples of how to have bot-match games that are fun.

MP focused or not, here's what Splash Damage's CEO have to say regarding the SP mode:

Since i have a JTAG box, i downloaded this when the first release came out. Played for a few hours. And first off, I had no idea really what the game was about. I knew it was a FPS with leveling/XP-system, but that's about it

And the game is fun IMO - not a memorable story by any means, but as a straight up shooter it's pretty entertaining. But this game with 10 or so friends would probably be extremely fun, too bad no-one of those I play on Live with has plans to buy it Razz

Have to say i have not played it but for some reason its never appealed to me, most likely because its purely an online / multi player game with a bot front end for single player.

Technically all single player campaign shooters are bots driven but at least there's some planned AI (if you are lucky), this game just looks like its all about multi player so sort of alienates the SP campaign...

Anyone wish to give a view as a single player game please?

Hmm something is wrong with the graphics on 360 at least... After playing for a few minutes it seems like the resolution is scaled down to... low, everything just looks choppy and stuff.

Yeah, it's probably another sub-hd game. The demo version of Red faction Armageddon runs at 540p too. -_-

yeah, I reckon. There is zero v-sync on cut scenes on the xbox either (not sure about ps3) but it looks terrible.

Half decent game even single player

A quick look? That video is almost an hour long lol. Very good insight into the game though for those who haven't played it. I've just burnt the game but after watching that Giant Bomb video I can honest say I find the idea of playing it now very unappealing. Shame really as I had some pretty high hopes for the single player Brink. As I see it the game has no single player. That tacked on excuse against bots is a far cry from any sort of decent single player campaign I was expecting. Player Vs bots is dullsville and I have no interest in playing the game multiplayer. Disappointment of the year so far and I haven't even played it! I'm adding a no to the poll despite having already wasted the verb lol. Now where is LA Noire? Smile

The game is fun online, although very laggy at the moment.

Singleplayer sucks ass, your teammates suck and basicly you are on your own. On the other hand, the enemy team drops you in 1-2 shots and swarm every objective. Since you have to do everything yourself it gets pretty frustrating.

I'm gonna give it another go when it officialy releases Smile

@sabin : now let's just hope that LA Noire gets an update real quick, but this is a single player only game right ? I think Brink got an update cuz it's heavily multiplayer
