If AA is enabled then that's what you are noticing, MLAA blurs the scene slightly but on the plus-side it's reasonable fast and does a OK job plus it works on most games/programs.
(It even affects Aero and the hardware accelerated browser and media players if forced via ATI's CCC, this isn't bound by ATI or anything though just a simple shader based AA method with light blur as a side effect.)

Crysis 2 and the comparisons there are pretty good reference, it's more efficient and less blurry but still noticeable affects the overall visual look of the game.
(I find motion blur and depth of field interesting effects but full blur every frame/scene to mask certain jagged edges is a bit much, depending on implementation.)

Nah, no AA enabled - I rarely enable it as my POS machine can't handle AA Laughing Crying or Very sad

Asked myself the same. Some games look like gypsy's ass when an AA filter isn't enabled.

I'd rather have 60fps with no AA, than 30-35 with AA. DWI.

Thought I'm alone on that. Good to know it's not the case. Anyway, no release yet? Really want to see what's with this game.

If a game is old enough that AA can be enabled without crippling the performance, I will... but sadly those are few and far between. I seem to have horrid luck when it comes to AA, for everyone else they only lose 2-5fps .. but I generally lose 20-40% easily.

It's a good game, IMO of course, with a lot of exploration and some gorgeous physics. The game won't win awards for being the best game evarrrrr, but it's definitely worth £10 any day of the week.

Exploration? Didn't really read much about this game and I don't really know what to expect from it, but I like the concept.

Sorry mate, wasn't thinking >_<

Just like any decent Metroidvania title worth its salt, this one has a metric shitton of collectibles and hidden stuff - and I very much doubt I'll EVER find them all. A fair portion of them require you to "find" them via the MAVI and I just don't have the patience to stop in every room, open the MAVI, scan every wall and bulkhead and floor looking for hidden messages/items.

Sad

Really? I'm currently downloading it through steam, and it's 5,6 GB for me.

I just quit/relaunched the game so that I could tweak the settings a bit (framerate was getting WAY too choppy later in the game) and when I loaded it back up... my saves were gone.

Yes. Sad It's clunky, idiotic linearity, bad gameplay mechanics, irritating camera at times, awful animations and cut-scenes, practically a plot written in less than an hour, mediocre graphics, at least it has some nice views here and there, but that's the only pro I could spot. Anyway, just ignore it...

I'm not willing to put the 2hrs back in right now, I'll probably return to it in a week or two - I've always been like that, it's worse when playing a long RPG and forgetting to save frequently. I dislike playing the same segment repeatedly when it's so fresh in my mind, so I generally wait a few days/weeks.

God damn glitches.
