From what i could read, the movie was "taped" in 2009 but now MGM is spending million to edit the movie so they can change the enemy. They're going to CGI the Chinese out of the movie and replace them for the North Koreans as they are the new Enemy.

The original Red Dawn is a 80s classic , im sure this will be another POS forgettable remake.

Yeah "Tomorrow, When the War Began" was pathetically-bad. Made the invading Chinese look like dolts. Yeahhh ok... SKIP! Red Dawn from the 80s.. Yes excellent flick.
