I think warden is still referred as "gone".

^based on 2nd starting background (Martyr), not actual DAO save.

The "resurrection" thing in Awakening is because you loaded a pre-ending save. It won't actually load a post-game autosave if you died.

Hi,

could anybody help me out actually?
I didnt play for some time (was waiting for 1.02 patch) and now I forgot where in Kirkwall is this place where you could forge runes yourself to enhance your weapons/armor?
I remember it was some type of worktable in any house... but I cant remember where is was exactly...

thanks for help

Enchantment! Laughing

The Map will always show where your home is - but you can't enchant stuff manually, you have to go see the dwarf child Sandal. He's usually in your Manor, once you've acquired it, but until then you can find him in Hightown, standing next to a wall with his father.

Yeah, thanks, I remember him - he was in Dragon Age I, too, wasnt he Laughing
But I need also the location where you can craft runes yourself.
Sandal puts them into your stuff. But first you have to create the runes (or find or buy, but they are rare) with recipes and material.
And I cant remember the place where you can create runes.

thx

Ahh, you do that in your home bases. Either your Uncle's place in Lowtown, or your own manor in Hightown.

THE REAL AND ONLY "AWESOME" button!!

Want to play Dragon Age 2 the way it's meant to be played?
1) Get the awesome button.
2) Assign it to "target closest and attack".
3) Press the button repeatedly.

actually the fact that the game finally finds a STORY at teh end of the game should be the only sufficient motivation... i mean in the games defense, after pissing about for 60 hours of nothing, it does actually get good Very Happy

but if they wanna impress me, release a hd models and hd npc/character texture pack!

There's the files should anyone want them, of course a updated decrypt utility will also be needed (To function both with the new patch / previous content and these new ones.)

I don't think we need a new decrypter, just new keys.

I didn't think the current decrypt utility worked with the newest patch, maybe I was wrong then. Smile

Anything's possible, I was just operating off the assumption that this decrypter will work the same way the one for DAO did.

Tested...

Working...

Yay!!! Bunch of overpowered items (and I mean reeeally overpowering, why bother to loot/buy anything)

Shift-Delete

P.S.
Could've been fun if those items where part of merchant collection, and not a freebies.

They are powerful but the way they work is similar to that other sword in the CE version of the game, if you start a new game the stats and bonuses should be fairly weak when you acquire them but if you load a post-campaign save just to check the equipment out they'll be significantly more powerful as they improve per level.

Nothing like removing the entertaining loot whoring aspect from the game, and offering up items for cash-money.

Developers are definitely innovative in how they invent new ways to ruin the hobby.

But that's the issue. Why bother with anything else if you have your own version of "Bianca", for several pieces of equipment?

I guess you could replay whole game without anything exempt "green" DLC items. Very Happy

I haven't compared but I figured they would be weaker in comparison to normal items of around your current level just as Fadeshear was (Or atleast I think it was.) however as you say it wouldn't fix it completely as eventually (Depending on how fast the player progresses trough levels.) they would outclass any other item as the player levels past those or the level-up ability for the equipment increases the stats beyond normal item thresholds, which seems likely as the stats for the max-level equipment was way beyond any other comparable item in year 20 / level 15+ or how to accurately compare.
(They sure look nice and unique but as you also say there's this problem where it's just dumped into three crates in your home without any quest or even purchase needed, Emporium items were at least a little bit balanced in that regard as the better gear only appeared at the final chapters and it cost quite a bit.)
