Fan made Star Wars-movie, 3 years in the making.

It's actually semi-descent for amateur stuff. If you're bored that is Smile

Well i was pretty impressed to see how a low budget independent film can turn out that good. Ya the acting at some points is cheesy and fake but overall they were great. If you look at all the scenes in space...its nearly like in the real Star Wars movies.

They could have at least cast actresses who weren't hideous.

It's too bad they didn't spend more than an hour working on the script Rolling Eyes
I swear a 5 year old could have written something better and that didn't brake the star wars storyline...

I watched it until the ballroom sequence were that beastly girl walks down the stairs. I have to say production is good, it looks the part - and to be fair, given the 'standards' set in the latest prequels, the acting and script isn't that unbelievable - but it's still decidedly amaturish and as a result doesn't hold much value in terms of viewing pleasure.

But it certainly is admirable what they've achieved.

The first space battle sequence BTW had me itching for the fast forward button - it made my head hurt. There is definately more than simply looking the part (and this crosses over to the who should play bond question in another thread).

They all look like nerds though, not jedi's.

I mean, that one guy hasn't even tied his hair back or anything, he looks like he's just got out of bed.

Well, a few points; the didn't get paid, Star Wars is a pretty nerdish area - especially concerning those with a desire to make an amatuer film surrounding the universe - and thirdly there is probably a possiblity that they were friends or aquantainces so as to make casting easier.

I agree with you though.

They didn't act like Jedi script wise either.
