I noticed the excellent dialog in pic 2. "Jesus, think you pussies could run any slower next time?" Seems they missed out on the teambuilding part during bootcamp. Great way to insult your squadmates. IRL that'll insure next time you yell "cover me" someone will look the other way...

I read one review where they said coop is really good.
I have to say good luck finding anyone wanting to play this turkey...

It is rather interesting that that sergeant or teamleader or what he is spends most of the time between combat to insult and further complain about you and your squad. Razz
(Had to shoot him four times in the head before he dropped, mission ended shortly afterwards for some reason, haha.)

(The ArmA 2 notes about such incidents were a bit more clever about that stating for example that blue on blue happened but you shouldn't outright murder your own and then threatens with all sorts of consequences.)

(Which was about the first thing I noticed in-game in ArmA 2 during that first mission on the carrier ship before the game truly begins, hit the skeet shooting instructor by accident.)

They added hi-res textures, but no new content.

I was asking compared to the separate DLC's Razz
I've got em bought, so figured maybe some new stuff is out.

Oh well, guess not Sad

I did that somewhere but never posted it here.
http://www.multiupload.com/Z9N0HFD9XH

Should be all, as with other LIVE titles it uses a launcher and Reloaded doesn't overwrite the default one even so it might still work.
(I have no idea if that's everything patch1 does/includes so let me know if it works or something like that, all these annoying .w 8MB files are hopefully left alone in favor of that separate folder, what's up with that anyway, advanced streaming?.)

Strange, I tried the Launcherc/rld.dll files and the game started just fine, I'll keep testing things though but hopefully a proper update will be released by Reloaded or some other team.

EDIT: What I mean with the above is that such a error usually results from a conflict and here the "crack" is a entirely separate file and loader .dll or how it works.
(Such as previous SecuROM versions blacklisting certain applications and so on and refusing to start.)

Sure, don't know what good it will do but I'll upload it shortly.

Cleared the second mission, visually it looks better but the exposure effect from inside buildings to outside or rather dark environment to a light one is a bit over-done, the nice bleeding system made it over though which is cool (Blood progressively covering the bullet hole area and spreading until treated.) but I can't seem to quite break bones and crack skulls the way I could just open the opposition in Dragon Rising.

(Also heard a opfor or what they're referred to as speak for the first time, as another person commented that sounded "strange" to put it mildly.)

Shit game is shit. PC Gamer's 45/100 seems about right (wtf did they smoke @ Eurogamer, money from bribes? This crap even got higher rating than Dragon Rising!). It's hard to think this game would appeal to anyone, a totally useless product. It's like a bad B-movie. Luckily I don't have to keep this infecting my hard-drive anymore.

Holy shit...I'm glad I checked in here before installing this. How on earth could any sane human being could think this kind of writing was even remotely passable?

Seriously. Somebody had to write it, sobody had to approve it, sombody had to direct the voiceovers, somebody had to do the voiceovers, somebody had to approve the voiceovers, somebody had to put them into the game. And none of these guys thought..."dude, this is fucking retarded".

Well Bulletstorm passed trough similar dialogue, I suppose you can't really degrade Operation Flashpoint to quite that level of gameplay however.
(I enjoyed Bulletstorm for what it was but Flashpoint isn't really known as a sarcastic ironic slapstick kill-em-all shooter trying to impress with massive ego and macho attitude, until now at least.)

I'm not against some foul language ingame, but when playing this game on my surround set i feel like an immature kid.

The culprits at CM say it is very realistic because they hired an ex marine, dunno which unit/company came from then, the fucking Lunatic platoon Laughing ?

Well, at least Bulletsotrm tried to be a bit creative with its use of "language". Smile This is just an 8 year old hammering the keyboard and daddy patting him on the head for it.

True that, as for military advice and similar support it looks good as a feature but doesn't necessarily change the game, Soldier of Fortune 1 had that Murray guy and still managed to be a all out shooter encouraging people to be sadists and it had a microwave weapon and unrealistic enemies, back then it was fun though and it worked better in the sequel. Razz
(Bohemia is a bit different since they have these contracts with different military groups for developing actual software and such as a comparison.)

well its like this the DREPS from 360 can enjoy this for the racial slur it has and it teaches them new fine gentlemen worlds to use on LIVE

the PC on the other hand said "haha auto skip this horrid abortion ,lets go play some Arma 2"

*Sigh* The dialog in this game is the mother of all things gone bad. I cant believe the executive moron that approved this retardedconsolederpish. Sure there are some pranking and so on amongst soldiers going on, but not like this. Only bad leaders would approve or let this kind of demoralizing language go on within the squad/platoon.

Its just sad to see a developer crap all over their own game this way. Especially when they complained over how gamers spewed all over DR. Which wasnt this bad. I still liked coop in DR.
It's like CodeRetards trying to get back at pcgamers by releasing this derpbox crap, but only shooting themselves in the foot in the process. Or even more like trying to clear a room and having the nade bouncing back at their feet...

Wow, this was the most boring war themed shooter I've played since...Dragon Rising. Cool Face

But man, DR was boring but decent, this one is boring and shitty.

I still finished it though, in 9 hours and 32 minutes. Sad

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
