what about all those 2D rpgs on playstation 1? i agree with the 10+ year old 3d games looking... not too well even at higher resolutions, but 2D is timeless!

There's TONS.. but sadly most of them won't be accepted on NFOhump, which almost universally hates jRPG/anime games (unless it's Dragon Ball Z... woooo Rolling Eyes)

Nehrim way better than vanilla Oblivion. It has better story, more gameplay hours, improved gameplay, awesome missions and so much more....
Voice acting is in german with english subs.
Its a total conversion,so you could say it's a free game that uses oblivion engine. Indeed, the terrain, cities and people remind me more of Gothic 2, than Oblivion.

ye i remember all the hype it caused here.. but i found it worse than original oblivion, combat was really broken, graphics were worse than original oblivion.. i wont mention modded on.. , there were other numerous bugs even in first mine.. and did i mention combat?

it was all about either getting one shot.. or watching stuff swing in the air whithout ever connecting.. not to mention extremely stiff movement

You should have steped out of the mine (and camp) It was the worst of NEHRIM. After that the game really opens and shines. Really WAY-WAY better than oblivion. Oh, did i say the levelling system was done again, in a proper way? Very Happy

Not to worry, I also hate Dragon Ball Z.

Finally, someone with some god damned SENSE. There is nothing on TV that I detest more than Dragonball Shit. I'd rather way 24 hours of Eastenders, without a break, than see a single episode of that Americanised trash.

What wrong with DBZ? I had a Chinese neighbor when I was a kid, once a week I would come over to watch DBZ, much better than Spider-Man and his amazing friends, the flintstones, top cat etc. Never seen blood before in a cartoon and characters with extreme superpowers, I was really shock and impressed at the same time.

Half of DBZ was infused with fillers, and also each non filler episode of DBZ was prolonged as long as possible because it was always 1 chapter behind the manga. You had a very mundane, and incredibly drawn out story.

DBZ should of been no more then 100 episodes, but ended up being 291.

As a matter of fact, I am an anime fan. And I still cannot bring myself to watch through DBZ entirely.

Got an original copy from my uncle, tried it a few years back, on my old PC if I remember right and seemed like a decent game really, but I didn't have the patience for it as it was the same time I got the new PC I think. Will surely try it again some time and yeah, didn't realise at first, but Venetica is just like Sudeki, loved Venetica, though I didn't finish that one either as I lost my savegames right when I was close to the ending because my old HDD died.

Aye, I see Venetica as a more recent version of Sudeki, only with one character rather than four. Same visual style, same gameplay.

It saddens me to see that most of the quality RPGs have shitty/irrelevant stories Sad

I'm currently playing it again, almost finished actually.. just got to Akloria Very Happy It's a short game, most seasoned (j)RPG gamers will finish it in around 10hrs or so ... but it's still great fun.
