I got a well deserved easter vacation which is 7 days in length, the problem is that something weird is happening .

I hate waking up at 6 am to go to school, i was waiting this week like i was waiting for 10 virgins .

I can't sleep anymore, and when i do sleep i get some fucked up dreams and i wake up scared like a 4 year old . I have experienced the first time in my life how is the "sleep paralisys" is /

So yeah, fuck my life .

Nightmare after nightmare, usually dreams have sense, let's say a plot, you are someone in that dream, but all i dream are some very short sequences that make no sense and i quickly jump from one to another, things that dont have logic .

Judging by the fact that you mentioned 'sleep paralysis', I assume you have dreamt about demons, evil creatures, or rotten grannies that appear for a short time and than disappear, while you're being chained to your bed in a half-sleep mode? Cool Face

ixigia, that's not a dream-within-a-dream case ...

My Laughing was @ ixigia's and human_spam's posts, sorry if it wasn't clear enough. Sad
Quite weird to have those nightmares out of the blue like that.

The worst nightmares I have ever had were the ones in which I was quite late to go to school, and was really afraid of what might happen if I got there late.
Then, I would wake up... always to a saturday/sunday morning. Laughing

Never had any truly scary nightmares.

Sleep paralysis is said to be one of the scarier states one can be in. Conscious but completely unable to move or affect the state you're in.

Overall it sounds like something has happened (or some reflection on your life) that affects your subconscious. For instance, do you like your job, or do you hate it?

I get those A LOT probably once or twice a month, sometimes multiple times a month. I can see my bedroom and conscious about it but then weird shit starts to show up. once I hallucinated this old ugly women sitting in my computer chair and came to me and put my cock in her mouth and then bited, THE THING FUCKING HURT AND I FELT IT even after waking up I could still feel like it has happened for realz.

but I can admit that lately I haven't even HAD a dream. It's been weeks since I had a dream now.

Seriously now, what Frant said. Sometimes increased stress or sudden (negative) lifestyle changes can cause severe sleep disorders; these "collateral effects" are generally temporary though, you shouldn't worry too much Smile

I had a nightmare last night. I was dreaming I was in a tram, and some dude wanted to take my sneakers! I was freaked out, dunno why, as I was preparing to kick him in the face...

And I never saw the dude irl... :\

Okay I am the expert at this, watched a documentary about it Very Happy a long time ago, it's the cause of many Americans actually believing they were abducted by aliens and experimented on, and in Japan they dream about heir own folklore like old ladies standing by the bed, not biting cocks off, and waiving some lamp around.

It's pretty scary because you are dreaming but are conscious about it and, like in a 'real' dream, you are not aware that you are dreaming until you wake up, some people think it was real even when they wake up which makes them fubar-ed.

i have those dreams from time to time , they always start like this
i wake up and see the clock 'oh fuck its 10:34 i am still sleepy lets sleep 15 min more and then wake up'
but when i wake up its not 10:34 but like 4:00 or 5:48 !!! the strangest thing is i fell refreshed with new strength to go though the day even if i dreamed only for 1h-6h

yeah have this , its like my mom loved to say "your inner school bell to sleep" , when i hear that ring in my head i go to sleep [then i need like 7-8h to sleep to feel ok agian]... if you fuck it and say LET IT RING , you go to this insomnia state and have trouble with normal sleeping [you go into this 10-12h sleeping coma and when you wake from it you still feel like shit].... been there done that , so i know about what i am talking about

That sleep paralisys experience was the worst thing that happened in my life until now, i felt like i was being electrocuted ( seriously, i dont want this to happen to any of you ) couldn't move, felt my arms and legs but was unable to move them, and after some seconds i could see some monster mask on my wall which brought more panic to me . Luckily this only lasted to 8-10 seconds, i was afraid to sleep again .

Sleep paralysis is the only thing I remember from my early childhood, it scared me so much. I was definitely under 5 years old and sleeping in my grandparents room. I woke up, I tried to scream to wake up my grandparents but no voice was coming out and I just couldn't move or do anything. Terrible feeling.

Hehe same here, I can't even remember when was the last time that I remembered a dream..I just fall asleep and my mind automatically activates the braindead_mode, which means no nightmares but no good dreams either Laughing

Lol! Usually I get really long, interesting and action-packed dreams. I even have some written down and cataloged. Though writing them down loses much of the detail and/or meaning of the dream. I wish for a dream recording machine.
