Only thing missing from it is 30-ish seconds of music.
Oh, and the quality of the original feed was pretty bad, so don't blame me for this one being bad
Thank you very very much!

For those screaming console port, I should remind you that for both Doom 3 & HL2 they had been announced Xbox ports years before the games were released on PC.
During his keynote address today at QuakeCon, id's John Carmack said that the Xbox is the only console platform that id is "completely committed" to releasing Doom III on. Carmack further commented that the Xbox version will have the "full graphics fidelity" of the PC version, which made a major debut at this year's E3, where it won a number of awards.
In case you were wondering, the game is also being built, first and foremost, for the PC. Leading up to the official announcement from Valve that Half-Life 2 would be publicly displayed for the first time at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in May 2003, rumors spread far and wide about what the game would and wouldn't be. One of the more popular rumors was that, much like how Bungie Software moved development of its outstanding first-person shooter, Halo, from the PC to the Xbox, so would Valve switch to focusing on console development. Newell laughed this off--no, Half-Life 2 will be a PC game. At first. Newell did confirm that an Xbox version, at least, will follow suit, though there's no hard release date for it yet. At any rate, Newell emphasized that the success of the original Half-Life can be attributed in no small part to the game's huge, worldwide following of PC owners. Valve would have to be downright foolish to abandon its huge installed base when making Half-Life 2.

Perhaps they will later? Maybe they're editing/processing the videos.

Just watched that Conference vid on GOG, and W2 still looks interesting. But is it just me or were the guy Demoing the game constantly running in circles when in combat? It was like "whack the enemy and run in circles until facing the next victim".

Did they mention which versions will be censored and how importing saves will work? A newsletter I got a few days ago said that information would be released in the conference today.

They said no versions would be censored. As for save importing, they confirmed it was in. Apparently, you just need a save from the auto save at the end of TW1.
I would say the only problem is the fact that it's only one chapter and the game itself is not even the gold version. Why would anyone want to play it with release coming in 4 weeks is beyond me...
hmm... must be just a high bass in one video. anyway I am really glad it is the same voice actor as he has one of the most memorable voice along with deus ex 1 character.
All of you should be ashamed of yourselves seriously. Any tiny fault you have with the game you scream it is a console port; day 1 pirate! The game looks amazing as all hell. Having QTE's does not a bad game make. If TW2 delivers the same high quality storytelling that TW1 had I will be more than happy with the money I spent. If you are so afraid of PC gaming getting shoved aside then stop pirating all your games.
"Having QTE's does not a bad game make."
No, but it doesn't enhance the gameplay either. I've yet to play a game where the QTEs didn't annoy the hell out of me.
Has limited graphics options. You can change the resolution and the overall detail, from “low” through to “ultra”, and that’s it. FAIL?
What isn’t clear from this preview build, is just how flexible core quests are going to be in terms of what you can choose to do. So far I haven’t seen much deviation from the linear path, despite chapter one’s general openness. While I made radically different choices during one key scene, the outcome was always essentially the same. I am hoping that later chapters will be far more forked and give us genuine choice and consequence. But I guess we’ll see.
There are some other issues in this preview build that I think people will find significant. The first of these is the save function. Generally the game auto-saves at important points, but there’s potential in the more open areas for you to cover a lot of ground between auto-saves, and therefore lose a lot of game time if you die. This is covered by there being a quicksave function, which is only available outside of combat or specific set-piece scenarios. Weirdly, however, there is no manual save. Seems like a bit of an oversight.
