ok I'm trying to remember what this movie was called, it's from 2003 or 2004 and is about some girl from the future that travels back in time to try and prevent some war with an alien species, anyone know what movie I'm talking about, I'm goin crazy thinking about it, it's something like "the pretender" or "the returner" or something like that, please help me.

Yea I'm pretty sure the movie you're talking about is called Returner. Came out in 2002.
