Screens look very good. Nice detail and a good LOD. There seems to be an abundance of bloom though, very shiny.

I said it's now console shit through and through? I only expressed my dissatisfaction with the inventory, no need to put words into my mouth.
At least they could iconize everything by default in the list like other games using the same system have done. And for some reason BTmod for
Oblivion has hundreds of thousands of downloads and it's main use was to make the shitty UI more usable by increasing the amount of items
you could see in your inventory at once from the pathetic 6. No big deal indeed.
If Diablo III or World of Warcraft would switch to this thing then all hell would break loose.

Looks fun, though it seems you can't lock on to an opponent and circle strafe them? The guy playing was just running around like a tard.

I liked what I saw, but the vid itself was ruined by the idiot playing the game. He's just running around hitting people, there's no thought behind his actions in combat.

im actually finding myself all of a sudden wishing there was an extra month between april and may.. how fucking weird is that, especially after all my 'is it may yet...' posts..
problem is that i just did my huge da:o marathon, then moved on to da2, after i finish that, i still need to get witcher replayed so i have my save ready... im honestly worried as hell im going to be burned out on rpgs and witcher before i even get a chance to play it!
perhaps if i smash my way through witcher, ill have enough time to derp myself on playing crysis 2 through again, or finally install dead space 2... get some dumb shooting game time in, so im ready for some rpg again?
shit.. theres just not enough time...

additionally remember i brought up that comic-book/finisher dlc pack that i saw they were giving away with preorders? that was like 2 days ago.. just noticed at the store it looks like they arent offering it anymore... they run out already i wonder?

This is an odd request but does anyone know of a site that has the story behind the first Witcher? I got up to the chapter that starts off with Geralt in the city, after the forest area.
I had some issues with the game crashing on me and never got around to finishing it. As Chiv pointed out, with so much to play and so little time, I don't really feel like starting it all over but if I could get a little more background for when the 2nd comes out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

The dialogues sound like it's a localization/translation. Didn't they hire a british writer or smth from the english version of the game? I mean i can play it in Polish but woudln't mind naturally sounding english voiceovers.
"10 orens to granddad?" Seriously?
And yes i am pretty sure that there is a lock-on option. Why else would they have a trageting circle? Sign targeting also suggests this. If there is circle strafe and proper block/parry/dodge mechanics this actually reminds me of Blade of Darkness somewhat.

Gotta say all of you are a bunch of fucking faggots. This game could be be the second coming of christ, be the best pc game of all time and come with a free blow job machine and you people would still bitch just because they are making a console version. The combat looks great. It will be nice to be rewarded for using smart tactics instead of punished if you did anything other than the next attack in the sequence.

I think the combat looks like shit. It's one of the main reasons I didn't like the first one. Hell,, the game might still be fun, I don't know. I'll give it a try when it comes out. But I didn't like the first one so I'm not sure I'll like this one.
And, hell, I hope that bloom can be turned off. Ugh.
