My win7 x64 lost it's genuine status (used Daz Loader) all of a sudden. Trying to reapply Daz again did not work but RemoveWAT did. I think it has something to do with MS essentials, so for now removed it. FYI.

What ? Is that for real or is it one of those viruses with their fake popups ?

Be careful ...

Works fine for me, I'm using whatever old Daz loader version there was when I installed my win7 a long time ago, I haven't installed MSSE though.

I have installed all updates except that one which was antipiracy (ending in 033 I think) from some months back.

Installed Windows 7 ultimate already activated, updated and it´s not genuine now.

Used Windows.7.Loader.v1.9.7-DAZ and it´s not working...

Any suggestions?

Find yourself a windows 7 release which is an untouched RTM. I always stay away from preactivated releases or releases which included already installed updates in them.

Windows 7 is still a POS.

Issues that still exist:
1) Explorer does not update changes. Have to hit F5
2) Goes into Standby mode automatically. Have to keep changing turn off monitor to OFF

Windows 7 is still a POS. Glad I dont pay a cent for this garbage as it is worth nothing.

Is this poor attempt at trolling or?

Mine explorer refreshes normally. And because of these two tiny insignificant things you call an OS a POS Rolling Eyes

If it sucks, why don't you get an apple OS?

Ok,other OS questions!:

Is there a way to have the glass FX and colour change on windows/taskbar but with the taskbar preview/Flip 3D DISABLED?

Also,is there a way to enable the Search function at windows/Start (taskbar) while having the HDD's Properties' "Index thing" turned off?.

I know it sounds kinda impossible but...i'm on 7,i want it to look "Sweet" my way grinhurt...¬¬;;;

Well i had Microsoft.Windows.7.Enterprise.x64.Integrated.August.2010-BIE installed fine until this march 30th. In control panel ->system ->under windows activation it's now saying: "1 day until automatic activation. Activate Windows now" I wonder what windows features would get disabled if i didn't do anything?

I looked at my windows update history and saw "Update for windows live essentials 2011 (KB 2520039)" installed. This is my only explanation thus far. In the "installed updates" section this update does not show up, so i'm not permitted to remove it and see if it changes anything. But then again, on another machine i had windows.vista.ultimate.x64.sp1.integrated.june.2008.OEM (no serial) which also installed this update and it still remained activated...

My solution: ran the crack bie_7install64.exe from Microsoft.Windows.7.Enterprise.x64.SP1.Integrated.March.2011-BIE and it reactivated it even though this was released before this update. Time will tell if this is permanent...

Anyone else?

Are there still problems with SP1? I didin't install it because there were problems all over the place and supposedly it adds little to be of significance.
