Use L for work specific dialogues, R for personal related chat.

I am starting to hate this game, some of the puzzels are just stupid.
Like the cooking. And the lockpicking at marks house, wtf is that?
It do not play by the rules, just trial and error again and again. Lame game!

I understand why it only got 55% of Game Informer.. because the graphic is nice and the atmosphere is spot on, but the puzzels sucks donkey balls.. Sad

Hi!

I agree with your posting concerning the cooking-puzzle.
This was (besides one other time, where I was a doofus and too blind to see the easiest things) the only puzzle, where I had to use a walkthrough.
The lockpicking-puzzle is a pain in the ass, sure, but it is very logical. Took me about two hours to get through the logic behind the lock. But after that it was very easy to solve this puzzle.

Still Life is imho an amazing game and i hope, that there will be at least one sequel.
I expected a lot from this game and it hasn't disappointed me.
My favourite adventure still is "The longest journey", but this one comes right after that.

Oh yeah...don't know how it is with other languages, but the German voices (except Victoria) were very bad. There were no emotions in it. Hope, this will be better in "Still Life 2" Very Happy

The cookie puzzle was the only one that annoyed me.

everything else seemed to have logicial solutions, that was just guess work (on the whole)

to be fair the puzzles are all logical and can be solved by thinking hard.
however, i don't see the point of including such puzzles in an adventure game, prob in a game like Myst would make more sense. I just wanna adventure, not crack puzzles. but overall a great game, v easy though (excluding the puzzles)

Blast it! I can't even see some of the stuff on screen I need too see to solve the puzzles. Need to get one of them HD-televisions, I solved that puzzle in the attic like three times before i realized I was getting the symbols confused... maybe s-video would help.

It works fine for me using either M8, the latest X2 or a Debug bios.

I am launching from Avalaunch or the grinhurtK launcher.

Dunno why you are having issues, but if it still fails try launching it from a diffrent dashboard.
