it looks a bit better than the first one but not much of a difference.
the cars feel heavy though the GTR felt really heavy maybe because its untuned or something and it is a big car in rela life i guess.
the starter car felt sluggish , unresponsive and down right slow but im hoping upgrades ahave a big effect seeing as their are so many.
it runs fine for me on a 460 1gb card with 4x aa, but about half the FPS i get in shift so maybe the crack is a bit dodgy

I personally hated the helmet cam (sometimes the movement of the camera would seem to cancel the steering movement and i'd end up oversteering and what not) , in 3rd person view cars still look like they drift through every corner, and controls felt really sluggish for some reason - maybe i need to recalibrate everything but using the xbox 360 controller, the steering was really slow to respond
Meh for me, but i'll give it another go later tonight.

Played for a couple of hours. The campaign is shit like the 1st one. So many bad design decisions. I sometimes wonder how did these people get to be where they are if they can't even design a proper engaging racing career.
The handling has improved but the way the camera swerves, be it in the cockpit view or the helmet view, is a major let down. You feel disconnected from the car, second guessing when to approach the corner and making you miss it sometimes.
I liked the AI though, was good on the 1st and feels even better (Kicks the ass of GT5, which isn't very hard though). The damage is ok. Feels wrong sometimes, specially after a hard it. Still miles better than the competition. Also had major fps drops, and i'm using top hardware, which means there's some shit programming going on, or just a lousy port.
All in all not bad, slightly improved from the 1st, but not enough for purchase (maybe later on a steam sale)

Ive got a stupid question, so this is another "track only" NFS for which u need steering wheel and there is no career mode and only basic customisation ?

Great. There no possibility to create second ingame profile in case my brother want to play !! :/ What a shit !! Helmet cam is .... crap cuz I dont fell where I drive and cant proper countersteer.
Wheres a graph of gear ratios like in Shift 1 ?!! Jesus....
Description of tuning options just slides down and back to top so I cant read it slowly. I want slider to manually slide them up and down !!! Is that hard to do ?!
Gfx is nice, almost the same as Shift1 but in some cases like above this game is a big step back. Personally I would like a better game than all this shiny shitty real drivers in movies cuz their faces didnt make a game to be a better.

i go play a bit more till I go to work :/

i can't save the gameplay settings:( swiched auto clutch to manual etc but i can't save it ,it keeps the default settings:(...is it the crack? or it's me?

looks like they didn't simulate the clutch (stall engine when drop clutch)  was expecting more..it's like the ifrst one more or less.

I have terrible performance even with all the settings lowered. Shift 1 work fine with all setting on max on my computer. Someone have the same problem ? I'm on nvidia 460 1go (267.24) / intel c2d 3gHz
Hope it's just a problem with the crack :/

Yes its cause EA stupid idea to put right shift just for the name shift....In the legend save button looks like arrow up but when i tried various buttons i saw the arrow up on shift button and relation to the name....

i didn't even look, i just went to the usual keys that doing this job and non of them worked so i gave up too fast i guess and posted the request for help and while waiting for answer i figured it out...kind of EA smart ass  but yea, @leo, its working fine with the p2p crack:) |

I have high fps with everything maxed out on 460gtx but I have Sandy Bridge CPU running at 4.6GHz, maybe you need a quad core processor :>
