Shocked to see neither Halo or Gears of War made it to the top ten.

I'm just gonna take this list as a list of awesome games i should check out because the guy who made this is clearly retarded. Zelda on first place storywise? is he fucking serious? evil guy catches princess and you need to defeat evil guy to save the princess...... It's a amazing game, but storywise it's a simpleton amongst, well, almost everything.

Not even going to look.
All I know is that if Broken Sword ain't on there the list is likely bullshit.
These lists are just so typical now in their derp levels. Probably written by a bunch of console fags with a 3 year memory.
I'd agree about Max Payne not being on that list. Amazing plot. The plot is what made that game (Besides bullet time). In fact, now that I think about it.. I'm going to play through Max Payne again right now. Haven't played it in YEARS so the story will seem fresh again. All I remember was that mind fuck baby crying blood trail level, and the guy who you kill who was getting a blowjob. Epic.
And holy shit.. Max Payne STILL looks pretty good. And it is what, almost a decade old now?

Well he did list Crysis 2 as having a good story on the first page, due to being written by a cheesy Sci-Fi (yes sci-fi not SF, since it's so terrible) writer whose books are on the shelves of gas stations.
So that pretty much said all about his tastes.
And yeah the order is fucked, he just took a couple games and put them in a RNG generator to get some kind of ranking.

Imho they have great replay value even still. Yeah, the graphics are shitty, but man, story, characters and voice acting are usually great! I just recently replayed Sanitarium ... aepick!

The fact that anything is placed higher than Planescape: Torment on that list makes me think they only included it because they heard that it was a "hardcore" game and that "elitists" would be "unhappy" if it weren't atleast included.
God of War?, Resident Evil?, OBLIVION?! SERIOUSLY?!
Yes yes japanese pop culture and clichès aplenty is apparently a good story nowadays
That those games are even ON the list further proves that they've no idea what they're talking about.

god of war's plot has more holes than the swiss cheese on my bread.
that has nothing to do with good story, that's just some guy listing his favourite games.
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.

For story? No way. It's a classic RPG that's a great adventure but I think nostalgia goggles are on big time with that one.

Glad to see BG2 on there. At least some people appreciate what Bioware used to be, even if the company itself doesn't.

What about Bioshock? You can't have a more dark and surreal story than Bioshock!!!
