Ah fuck ubisoft and their 100% sync extra challenge. The challenge for the tank mission is fuckin stupid if they hit me even once i have to restart the whole memory cuz with checkpoint restart full sync is still failed. To play again 10 min gameplay to reach the tank and got a hit in the last moment....After the 3rd try it becomes fucking frustrating

wow, didn't know girls like this "Lauren" existed. All the gamer girls I've ever known were chunky, had no personality, or suffered some other major ill. From a brief view at her blog seems the worst thing about her is her taste in music

Does anyone know how the levels were created? Handcrafted or randomly generated? it sure seems like handcrafted, but that would be a shitload of work.

Of course they are handcrafted. They are based on many historical descriptions and drawings.

I can confirm that . All the big cities are very accurate, and smaller towns like Monteriggioni or San Gimignano (in AC2) are absolutely impressive

Amazing game and experience, Ubisoft are really outdoing themselves with the AC series, aside from the last SC don't have much to complain about other games either.
Still it's puzzling why the only game where I would up the difficulty from NORMAL to HARD doesn't have that option, a HARD difficulty could have so many options like when you get detected you are really screwed and have to use smoke bombs just to escape unless the opponents are the weakest soldiers, just feels wrong when a small guy in robes takes on full plated guards with axes and kills them, sure this time there is a challenge with the 100% sync some of them are quite hard to get but really a HARD difficulty wouldn't be that hard to implement, he is faster than anyone else and can climb faster he can always run away which would make sense for an assassin not to face danger head on when detected.

For those having trouble with the 100% sync on the tank mission.
I beat it the 2nd try by driving back into the white sync wall until i almost de-sync.
NOTE: That way the two tanks still aim for you but right when they want to shoot they move again and try to re-aim. That way they never shot once while i was busy shooting them.
And here's a screenshot that makes it more clear:

Just circle strafe around them. They inevitably get lined up one behind the other so only one can draw a bead on you at a time, but you'll be moving out of the way anyway.

She's not merely a gamer girl anymore she works (or worked until 2010, not sure is she stil does) in the industry, for id software as Build Manager / Production Assistant

Nope... Athlon II 640, 5770, 6 DDR2, Windows 7 x64 runs like butter on those settings. Try installing a newer video driver...I had 11.2 and I've updated to 11.3.
Getting excellent frame rates on both. Haven't used fraps to measure them but the gameplay is smooth.

Thats outstanding. Great waste of money right there. Q6600 overclocks to 3ghz on stock cooling no issue. You only need water cooling if you are trying for 4ghz~.
Some people will never get it.

Is there an end to the endgame credits? Whoever decided it should be unskipable must've been a genius.
I also understood el zilch of the ending.

Tried it with a gamepad, but the layout doesn't allow you to sprint/jump/free-run while looking around at the same time (in fact, the 5-button mouse layout seems much more intuitive and easy to use in general). Not to mention that I still suck at using the controller for aiming or looking around with any sort of precision
Who could have thought that making decent mouse controls is such a difficult task... |
I really don't know what the ppl are complaining about?! Do you have mouses with adjustable dpi? I just put mine at 2000 dpi and it worked like a charm...
