Well I just played on one of those VUG servers (I dont know why it worked but it did), with about 6 other people in a slow-mo team deathmatch game. Its a very good game, but the novelty wears off after awhile. Its definitly much better with a server full of people then it is 1v1, the game just comes alive with all the mayham going on, and the special effects are amazing.
Its downfalls are, like any FPS it gets boring, the levels are shitty, the general look of the game is very bland, hidden behind its great effects.
The weapons are good, there needs to be more of them but the ones in game right now are excellent, especially those pickup super weapons, extremely fun to kill with when in slow-mo, its like your in a high budget action film. The kung-fu stuff is pretty cool, its deadly in the right hands, and god is it fun to slide into a room under fire, aim the shotgun in their face, and blow em into giblets.

It's the amount of video ram. Drop the texture quality to med and no more water slowdowns, or any kind of slowdowns. Btw, maximum textures look only marginally better than medium. Low textures look VERY bad. |
damm you're right! change the texture to med. and looky here hehe, oh and the water run nice now also.

Some work, some don't - It's pretty much chance. Try joining a server a couple times, sometimes you can get in that way. Remember to update too! Peace,

Okey, thanks.. I´ve got this problem when I´m trying to install the game it says that I dosen´t have enought diskspace, but I got a couple of GB left. What´s the problem ? Maybe that I only got 155 Mb on my Windows disk left ?

check where you're Temp directory is, if that is on Windows disk, then yes that is the problem, then you might consider moving it, to another disk, that's what I did after countless message of not enough disk space.

btw has anyone found a way to just host a game on the patched version of ear mpbeta, so you can run around yourself ?
I tried the lanonly=1 but no luck

I'm also looking for a way, if I cant join any servers I would atleast like to check out the levels and weapons. Anyone know a way to get host game to work?

I don't understand what you guys are asking - I hosted a game myself with the leaked private beta version, I can run around the level just fine (I only tried one).

If you're talking about the update patch, then yes, I did run it before hosting a game. It woks fine...
Or were you trying to say that those who haven't run the patch yet are the ones complaining about not being able to host a game?

No I was talking about the people that has updated their game and now can't host a game, Mine always come up with the "availble connection type can not be used" it tries to use a internet conn. That was why I said that I have tried the Lanonly=1 settings with no luck.

im wasnt able to host without the 1.1 patch and I cant host one with the patch. When I go into host, I'll hit launch ill i hear is a click and thats it nothing happens at all, no loading, no error, nada. Do you have to select a map from the missions menu first? Mine has nothing in it....

When i´m joining a game and is says:
Spectating: FLY mode
Next mode: Press ´F´
Respawn: Press "
Which key should I Press to respawn ? I got a Swedish keyboard.

hosting works fine here without the patch, that is... 
game looks pretty schweet, soft shadows kills the framerate though.

changing the last number in the CD key just gives an invalid CD key error when installing, tried 0 - 9 and non worked, so you sir must be full of sh*t.
