Alright, I just tried some Music which were mentioned in other threads.
- Sublime -> Good Music, I quite like it, 40oz to Freedom is a great Song, I also like Don't Push and some others I forgot. What is Sublime exactly? What Genre? I think they mixed many Genres in their Albums. Could anybody tell me?
- Bad Religion -> Tried, I like it, the leadsinger (vocal, whatever) is great, good 'Punk?' (sorry Im not used to put music into Genres, can define these kind of things good).
- Pink Floyd -> Well not exactly my music, but still good. (Just downloaded 'Dark Side of the Moon' like it was mentioned in other threads.
- Alice in Chains -> Like them, Genre?
- Ramones -> I dont know, I dont really like the music of them. Have the Anthology and it sounds quite like a Punkband from Germany (Die Toten Hosen).
- Metallica -> is cool, cant discribe whats good.
- Tool -> ok, but not my favourite.
- Well and at least I tried something for myself and I choosed 'NiN (Nine Inch Nails). I was suprised that I enjoyed such music, I generally dont like these disturbing sounds like in other bands, but this Band is unique. I dont know what Genre it is.
As you can see, I need really advise in all that stuff. Help needed!

Alice in chains = RIGHT CHOICE
They are considered grunge rock...but really, its just good old rock
If u like them
I suggest you listen to the other big names in what was once the best movement in music (besides the 60's and early 70's)
They would be:
Perl Jam - Last Kiss (cover), Black, Nothing Man, Indifference, Betterman,
Daughter, Yellow Redletter and a bunch more
Stone Temple Pilots - Really, the whole first album is classic and then u gotta pick and choose through the rest - Sour Girl is off of the 2000 album (cant spell it at all), decent song - The singer from Stone Temple is the current singer in Velvet Revolver, but STP is 10 times better
Nirvana - Honestly, i like all their albums
Soundgarden - Same as Nirvana - although Blow Up The Outside and Jesus Christ Pose come to mind Biggest song was Black Hole Sun
There were some other less known bands but i cant think of em off hand...id have to go through all my cassettes and that shit is packed away
most of it was indy grunge type of stuff
Oh, and NiN is like, to some is like the original marylin manson but i think trent reznor is fag - and he's a sellout (singer of NIN and co-owner of interscope as i believe).
I think marylin manson kills nin - and its considered industrial metal in my area
Tool also kicks ass, their early stuff...its unique...and the singer, whats his name..oh yeah, maynard is an amazing song writer - the vocals are an acquired taste
