So that's were the nanosuit got it's voice ability from, interesting.
(Though the nanosuit is kinda a intelligent rubber now, protects against infection, airtight, collects alien goo and so on.)
Hardcore is the highest pre patch, extreme the highest post patch, same stuff though but it was renamed to be easier to recognize.
(Gamer -> Advanced -> Hardcore.)
I've been playing this for a while (like 4-5 missions), I think gameplay is good, yes, more restrictive than Crysis but also more focused in action. Graphics are definitely not on par with the first game but still better than most fps released till now, which is acceptable. Anyway, the game is very clearly a console port, a very well done one yeah, but carrying all the limitations a console port implies.
ok i beat it now, not terribly long but i feel like it was 6-7 hours maybe. i really enjoyed it, the suit is really much improved imo. i think having the hotkeys for the abilites was nice, aswell as using shift for speed or shift for strength when aiming. was a fun experience, might consider buying if the mp gets fixed
Aaaaargh!
"Motion blur" is driving me nuts. How anyone can play through the full campaign with it, is beyond my comprehension. Anyone managed to get it completly removed?

It seems to be removed when playing the game at +100fps on 120hz monitor. But the game starts to "feel" like COD. The cinematic feel goes away

Personally I think the game is great, definitely better than I was expecting.... though admittedly my expectations were low The gunplay is fun, the suit is fun, the visuals are gorgeous .... it's just a good game.
Best game ever made? No.
Best FPS ever made? No.
Worst game ever made? No.
Worst FPS ever made? No.
And to all the oh so hilarious videos showcasing dumb AI/glitches as evidence that the game is "derp crap" --- Crysis 1 says Hi!
Yep. I guess that means Crysis 1 is derp crap made for consoles too Sadly I won't have time to finish it as I've got to finish all my packing for my flight in the morning, but I'm definitely looking forward to finishing it when I get back -- and I'm even considering picking up a cheap key for multiplayer, I'm not sure yet.

actually I AM playing it on a 120hz monitor on +100fps... Well on a 120hz monitor at least
By the way, I think the new nano suit fits well with this game. The old suit interface from Crysis1 just would be a pain in the ass in this game because the pace of the action has changed since the first game

Thats strange. You shouldn't be seeing any blur effects. I get the blur effects when I cap the fps to 62. If your game is running at around ~118fps, you should see no blur even when turning very quickly

Funny, Crysis was exactly that - the PC game that wanted to be console game - a 2007 console game, but still. Crysis 2 is a 2009-2011 console game you seem to love so much - linear follow the check points game.
As for hilarious AI, you forgot the holy grail of buggy Crysis 1 AI:
So instead of Crytek improving it, they made it even worse, and that is acceptable in your book?
Also, some people excused the buggy AI of the first game due to the large levels. That excuse is not viable here.
I don't see how they made it worse at all. So far the AI has performed admirably in my game, I've not encountered anything like your video. So yes... it's acceptable. To be honest, I'm astounded there are ANY games you like - because so far, aside from Dawn of War (and I'll bet the instant Relic put out a 360 version, you'll throw a wobbly over that too) - you just seem to hate each and every game on the market, pointing out the smallest of defects in order to castigate the game as being "trash" It's pretty hard to discuss games here, because if there's anything YOU don't like, you don't hesitate to mock and taunt those that do.
It's a shame, but whatcha gonna do? I enjoy the game and that's all there is to it =)
Anyone understood the end? Karl Ernst Rasch? And.. Prophet? Alcatraz is Prophet? I dont get it.. Fucking confusing, but Karl Ernst Rasch sounds German so maybe Crysis 3 will be in germany .

Gonna check my FPS, got a gtx460 and an i7 Sandybridge. Should be enough... Even on everything turned off in autoexec.cfg i get everything blurred when turning.
Naw, I'm talking about the actual Dawn of War - or DoW2. If Relic ever announced/released a 360 port, you'd hate it. No matter if it's identical to the PC, you'd still hate it

If you check my comments of DoW2, when it first came out and I played the campaign, I said that a port for 360 of the campaign should be quite easy to do with little difficulty adjustments. MK is on the consoles only, and I don't hate it.
I do hate adjusting something fur the much for the console retards. And they are the culprit here, not the actualy 360 hardware. So yes, if Epic turns DoW3 into EndWar 2, I will hate it, yes. With passion.
