There's nothing wrong with it. I think the whole damn thing has gotten way out of hand. Taken on it's own merits it's a stunning game. Despite all the pissing and moaning I've seen by communities Crytek had a valid point talking about PC piracy, and the fact they made this game for console as well is not surprising in the least. It' s where the majority market share is, and seeing as companies are in this to make money, why the fuck should they pander solely to a minority bunch of prissy cry-babies who think the world owes them a living?
It's all bullshit. Seriously, some people need to get with the times, stop following fucking trends and jumping on bandwagons and make your own damn minds up. For once.

Edit - aimed at no-one in particular, just in general and not just with this game.

For those that don't have the game, or the hardware to run the game (at all), or can't run it at the highest settings, here is a 200MB video I recorded: http://www.multiupload.com/BAO1XM64E5 from early in the game. (Usually Multiupload or Megaupload should give you good speeds, so I suggest you try to download it from these two)
I think the video is a good demonstration of the lighting, colors, post-processing, shadows, motion blur, textures, antialiasing of the game. There is a tiny bit of destructibility too.
Settings: Extreme, 4x post-MSAA, disabled EdgeAA, 16x AF, 72 FoV

I vote for stop making opera since it's just for elite cry babies and gives no real money. Instead let's just make pop rock and be rich and stupid.
Capitalism at is finest. Let's all stop having a different taste and jump the morons bandwagon.
P.S: And this is not a critic to this game since i only played a bit of the beta and though it was better than any other of these new fps's, although Half-life 2 still pisses all over this.

thats a lot of info in an exe to make up 16mb of code to be honest lol.

It only fixes multiplayer issues and renames the specs to High, Very High, Extreme. Whether the changes stay or not with the cracked exe is pointless as it doesn't fix any SP issues meaning there's no reason to apply it.

Technically post-processing can go to v.high / 4 and not just high / 3, all settings can be defined for that but the config file only has the post-process commands for that value so it's a bit redundant.
I think the command can be set from the in-game console even, sys_spec = 4
(sys_spec_post_processing = 4 for that one lone value.)
(Which is one of the main reasons I use a custom config file for various minor tweaks like this one, that utility is good as well of course and simplifies things a bit but it's also limited to what is programmed into it unless he were to add all 3000 or so commands as available in future updates, not a bad starting point though but for fine tuning manual input is needed.)

The patch1.pak archive however does contain a number of files that seem outside of the changes listed so it might solve some other minor stuff though it's probably not important enough to list.
(Can't say anything about the core game engine as everything is now inside Crysis2.exe instead of separate .dll and other files like in the beta.)

What disappointed me the most was using stealth. Playing on the hardest difficulty sneaking around and killing people without being noticed was kind of fun. Boy, does this get old after about 30 minutes when you've stealth killed the 500th soldier. It has clearly been set up for mass murdering ala COD. There are probably more soldiers in that first area up until you reach the city then there are on the entire first map of Crysis.
There are no more arenas anymore. Just a straight line you walk through with the exact same crappy enemies in the way. Is the AI even existent? They seem to have two commands: 1. Repeat the same stupid radio chatter or 2. Shoot me from a distance of over a mile because I didn't use the stealth component of the suit.
Then there's the massive gun in my face like I would forget what I was doing or something. Thanks for making the laser's on weapons 3 times better than they need to be Mr Orly.
I actually feel dumber for having had played this. I'm going to play Blood Money or something to regenerate some brain cells.
