its terrible, only reason it looks like it best, cuz there are little to no tactics involved, and game is uber fast now, just try to play on half speed, and you totally obliterate ai, castle siege ai is terrible, its gets buggy, units wont climb,and sits at edge of the map, archers wont walk around the castle, for example enemy sieges with 2000 units, you got 500.. out of those 2000, say 1200~ is archers, move your melee to side with enemy melee, they climb up, and die to yours obviously, then archers will climb to castle, once they start climbing or already there, charge with melee, and they get obliterated, and thats how you win such castle defenses,
ambush ai is joke, i swear ai does better if it doest ambush, getting abushed by 2,5k army when commanding same size, and loosing 300-500 when he looses 1700+ , ambush my ass..
there isnt good old cavalry charge, which broke ai much more before as good players used cavalry to wreak havoc, its just simple melee, charge, shoot,
in older tw games defending ai would never move into your archers, while here it does 80% of the time if you start moving , so will they, then you just stop,and they get splattered.. and all that..
moded m2 ai is far better, and considering ai was never really modable..

This is normal. I forget what it's called but its designed to provide a 'wall' once you reach a certain point. Otherwise you would become so powerful that basically you'd have won the game and are just wasting the rest of the game rampaging across the map with no resistance. There are mods to remove this if you dislike it. But really you'd then just get bored at around that point because you'd have basically 'won' for all intents and purposes but are left spending turns cleaning up the stragglers. I feel its basically like in an RTS trying to find that one last building some bastard hid in the far corner of the map just so you can win.

I got my First CTD with FLT release. AFter endturn shogun2.exe stopped working. Cant finish this campaign cause cant finish this turn, always CTD.

Happened to me as well. Anyone knows if there is a fix for that? I'm not sure it is the crack since a lot of people have been complaining on steam forums.

Just remembered: is it just me, or do the cheering animation look absolutely retarded? What happened to the good old ones? Even Rome had better pre-battle shoutingmatches. You know, beating shields, waving the swords at the enemy, etc. Now it's just some badly-animated "throw your arm into the air" derpiness.

lol, yeah it looks like they are at a Metallica concert rather then in battle.
