Just found this on the tube;(MAY BE STRONG IMAGES FOR SOME)
I have no clue if it is real. I tried to google, but i didn't fin anything.
Any1 else know anything about this?
It's YT, mate. Are they really going to keep a video showcasing someone committing manslaughter? It's either fake or a reenactment, though most the comments citing "sources" are all bogus too. The only one that even comes close to being "true" is the Bernhard Brener comment .. and even that only brings up this results;
Clever Magic-Related Headlines
The following are real newspaper headlines that are either humorous, clever, questionable, or all three. Don’t worry. These aren’t the predictable headlines that we’ve all read, such as “Presto Chang-o, magician makes boredom disappear with his tricky business.” These are a bit more inventive:
“Magician saws girl in half by mistake: Amateur Houdini bungles trick as audience watches in horror!”
(Source: Bernhard Brener in the Weekly World News, 1987)
Yet trying to find that news article doesn't result in any hits. So either fake, or someone's reenactment of those 1987 events.
~edit~
Here's a Google Books search on 1987/88 headlines;
He sawed his assistant in half (not three pieces like in that video) and fainted after the girl screamed and the blood gushed. The YT video shows different events ... so, again, fake or reenactment.
Yeah... but I'm starting to think both are fake. Weekly World News sounds like the lowest kind of pulp fiction tabloid trash It's more lulz-worthy than National Enquirer. Nobody spends 90 years in jail because "they lost his documents" --- and the comment from Bernhard? "Guess I need more practice" WTF? Guy apparently saws a girl in half, murdering her, then says "Guess I need more practice"?
