Maybe it's been said earlier in the thread, but isn't it funny how there is a bootleg version of the xbox360 and ps3 version but not a PC version? Why haven't we heard any complaints about how the consoles are contributing to piracy? Do you suppose someone would look like the 'pc abandoning tool' that he is? I haven't bought or played MW2 because of their crap and unless the people at Crytek so me something that warrants my money I probably won't be playing this either.

Ah sorry if I sounded rude then, yeah the scripted nature does make progress a bit wonky if you bypass a objective, if you backtrack in the Battery Park level you'll see all sorts of weird crap for example, I'll post some images shortly. 
Oh and it's not much of a spoiler actually, pressing B is learned early on to highlight everything of interest, all objectives, secondary objectives, points of interest and nearby items and enemies by a special visor mode so you rarely get stuck even on the levels that aren't linear.  (The few that exist, haha.)
EDIT: And on that note this is kinda how the binoculars in Far Cry (And occular in Far Cry 2.) and Crysis 1 worked but it's been enhanced/simplified even further.
(You don't really need to know the path and use the minimap functionality to know where to go, let alone using the highlight function like that, most of the time at least, some larger levels might perhaps be a bit confusing at first.)

I'm pretty sure that one Mr. Carlos Estevez begs to differ.
Of course, you have to consider, "working," a relative term.

Fuck me.
This multiplayer is terrible.
You constantly lose ranks, stats wont update at all, game crashes, server disconnects you pretty much everything you'd except from console port of the year.
