Only rars over here, and pars if any. If it didn't come prepacked, i'll pack it myself. Then one hard dvd copy for storage, one for use.
btw. I also pack, and collect dope.

i dont collect rars. just burn the cd, remove rars
with movies, burn 6 movies on dvd, remove from comp

but given the fact that 100% par sets takes up double the space and can be created really easily in 5 minutes it's just a waste.

sublime, you leech, the point is that its easier for me to take some pars off my par dvd and post them, then take rars of dvd backup and make new pars everytime someone needs it.

If you say so but the time it takes you to burn / download / rip the pars in total you coulda easily made a new set.

I dunno why but I've been collecting zips n rars since mid 1997 and burnin em and cataloguing em. Sometimes the few pars I collect come in handy when (more so with cd's than dvd's) I can't find a cd drive that can read alla the disk properly. Storin em as rars rather than images saves quite a bit of space and is handy if someone needs a piece but the amount that happens hardly justifies 1170 cd's and@ 230 dvd's. I used to grab everything but nowadays I just grab games I think I'll play a few movies and appz I like to use. The only real use it has been is to teach me to store disks properly and never use ultra cheap disks. The games thing feels like it's coming to an end which is kinda sad cause of all the games downloaded I've played less'n 10% of em since the other more n 90% were no good, buggy or very different to what it said on the box.
