Out of curiosity, how much do you guys in Europe pay for a data plan on your smartphones? Over here it's about an extra $30 a month for an "unlimited" data plan. Being still 2 years away from earning any substantial amount of money, i've been putting off getting a smart phone (still have an old clam-shell type regular phone) but I was just wondering if the rates were the same over there as they are here in the states.

here in austria for example, there aren't even any unlimited data plans. you pay around 20-40€ for 1-6GB/month
gotta say though, as long as you to massive donwloads at home and not too much excessive youtubing on the road, even 1GB is enough.

Resurrecting thread since I can finally afford a Nexus since the prices have gone down. Are you liking your Nexus? How is battery life? Have you tried reading ebooks on it, if yes was it doable?
