The topic should really be changed to "FEAR Closed Multiplayer Beta", as to not confuse people.
dyn IP addys, subnet & mac spoofs, email routing, and if all else fails, wi-fi. banned? lol, its more like brb. =p

ok, ive got it to work. (Only "host game" though)
Go to the "installation location" then to "ServerOptions" and open "player.txt". Then look up "LanOnly" and set the numer from 0 TO 1.
[Note] this worked on my computer, i dont know about yours.
BTW: i dont know whata hell you are supposed to do with all that shity programs, like protowall. You dont need them in this case.

Ok this does work, I was able to join a server (not an official one), and it loaded...then others starting joining and I was able to play, this game is fucking nice, and i didnt even get to try the slow-mo yet, besides by myself. (it looks so sweet)
I was even able to load the next map in rotation without any auth problems.
I had lan = 1 btw, not sure if it helps any...I cannot join any official servers, they give me the cdkey error.

LOL, it's not a DLL protection, you didn't install the DirectX 9.0c Feburary 2005 patch that asks you to install when you patch the game to 1.1.

I dont know guys, still not working for me. Blocked the ip, set lan to 1 and as soon as I click launch all I hear is a click and thats it, nothing happens. Guess I'll try protowall and see what happens.

Ingame the framerates were fine tho. I think the layout and structure is prety crappy tho, atleast from what I saw. Everything is so unrealistically shiny. It's no doom3/HL2 but it may be good gameplay-wise
