I'm glad to see the evolution of this franchise. What started as a great idea but bad execution - AC1- grew into one of the best sequels ever - AC2. Now Brotherhood expands it even further.
Also the soundtrack makes the game stand out.The instruments used, vocal, strings, guitar etc.
Epic stuff.

In my book, AC.B is probably the best political, cultural themed game ever made. It's more than it meats the eye.

Honestly after playing a while it seems better, but there are allot of little things that suck, Horse combat, in the first 2 games you could hold the button to charge your attack and time it perfectly smashing the enemy, but now you can only swing wildly and sometimes it doesn't even swing on the right side.
Also the climbing hasn't really been improved at all since the first game, I am sure they could have improved it a little to make it more interesting, there's no difficulty settings so if you played the first games this will be easy as pie, no real rewards for collecting shit like flags or feathers, you think if you went threw hours and hours of collecting stupid ass flags you would get something better than a fucking cape.
the AI is fucking stupid also destroying any chance of a stealth approach since you can pretty much kill a guard and stay out of site and the guards will just observe his body and go back to being retards who stair at the wall, instead of going into some kind of alert, btw wasn't the soundtrack torrented and wasn't it just the soundtrack from the first AC?

Agree, simply loved AC2, when a sequel makes you forget about the original you know that's a great sequel. |

Horse combat sucked in both games, and now the enemies actually use horses, and you can assassinate from one first to another or from horse from the ground. While I agree that this is an issue, it's nothing serious like you make it look.

Are you kidding me? The climbing was greatly improved from AC to AC2, you climb faster and you can jump upwards..how would you improve it?

The AI was also majorly improved, especially during fights, now they gang up on you and grab you to attack together. And the soundtrack was torrented in the console version of the game. Also each game had its own soundtrack.

yes, the AI is still quite bad, but its a huge improvement from AC1.

Atleast they're not standing around doing nothing anymore. The enemies gang op on you. After a couple of hours in AC1 I didn't get hit once, just wait and counter. The bastards actually got me a few times in this one when I was surrounded. It is a very easy game though when you get the controls under control. Maybe I'm just imagining it, but the enemies are much more active and reactive in this one. They were extremely passive in AC1. The combat needs a big overhaul though.
I love the city and the history behind this game. A lot of effort has been put into making it as believable as possible.
