They said it's a bug they hope to get fixed because normally it should no longer be highlighted while you use it.

Will this game have achievements? I love achievements.
15 points for turning on the game, another 15 for pressing a button, it's awesome.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

I'd guess that the PC version is usually a few steps behind in the development. It definitely seems to be more like an afterthought, most of the time.

Now, tell me, do you think those people can fairly judge a new game when they cannot accurately remember the faults of older games and look at the past games through rose-tinted glasses? in other words they are living in denial. |
Deus Ex is from 2000. when your average PC computer had like what? 128 MB of RAM? Why should we be happy with the same limitations today with all this RAM at disposal just because the consoles are so limited?
Thus, IMHO, we should not expect the same game, but at least some aspirations to reach the same innovation level that game had at THAT time. And we get some standard console sneaker/shooter game with no innovations, but even dumbing down features of the original.
Just look at that walking on rails thing.. How impressive is that for a game coming out in 2011.

I think he means the pre-determined narrow path you have to take. Might even be paths actually, but it would still be kinda the same thing.
Hopefully we will see much larger levels in this game.

Marking your objective with a BIG BAD "X", even when your level is incredibly small it's just so... 2010.
That didn't look that good. And actually the whole thread is worth checking, as hopefully Eidos will listen to all the hurt and "whining" Deus Ex fans.
EDIT
And by "so 2010" I mean ofc: streamlined, dumbed down, consolized, derpified etc.

The game is currently ranked #1 game for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 (yes on all three platforms!) on GT. That's impressive. |
It's not a good sign , I don't remember any good game coming from GT's top 3 most ranked games
