Let me guess there is no cheater report system like in Black Ops?

Black Ops have the best reporting system I've ever seen in any game thanks to the theater mode.

Well we can believe in whatever we want but at least there is a system for that. For me every MP FPS game should have something like that instead of sending emails to the developers.

i finished this in 4.5 hours. the game feels too much like cod. you wait for your ai team member to climb up a ladder so you can go up or kick down a door so you can go through or get out of your way so you could pass and so forth and so on. then there are the vehicle stages like the helicopter, humvee, and uav or the sniper missions. all of which are way too much like cod. it gets tiresome after a while. Sad

on the other hand, the graphics are fantastic. i love how the puddle of mud reflects. i love the sun rays bathing the world. i love the highly detailed textures. Smile

there are some scenes where you have to wait around/down time. there are way too many of these that just kills the pacing. Sad

other than that, it's a fairly average game in the fun department. after like the 2nd hour, i go on automatic mode and it becomes so routine and got mundane fast. Sad

anyway, i guess it's back to acb and da2 for me. Wink

This is just another shooter attached to railroad tracks.This kind of method is long obsolete.Give us an open battlefield and the ability to roam.This game had so much potential.Wouldn't it be great to have a model in which you could plan your own partisan operations and have supply and resource issues involved.I am long tired of FPS games that have set pathways.Guess that's why I stick to the Arma series because these Call of Duty/Medal Of Honor type games bore me fast.

You can see it has a lot of themes from the classic movie Red Dawn.The Wolverines banner at the high school converted to a concentration camp,etc.

Yeah, I think I've replayed that game like 4 times or so and it didn't really have any real re-playability but it sure as hell was fun.

I was hoping Kane & Lynch was going to be something like that but they totally fucked up by going the "artistic" way instead.
Anyway, the single-player part in homefront feels really terrible which I was expecting, however I'm still kind of interested in the multi-player... o.O

Wasnt expecting anything from this, but atleast the single player is better than Medal Of Honor (2010) which was unbeliavable shit Very Happy. I love FPS games, always finish em, but MoH was so shit that i couldnt even finish it :/

Game runs smooth as butter (with these graphics it has to Cool Face). Textures are nice, explosion/fire effects are pathetic Very Happy Weapon models are pretty nice, also sounds are good enough. Multiplayer could be fun, need to see if i can get cheap CD-key somewhere.

I sure as hell didn't enjoy it. Overall a small amount of content. Only about 10 weapons, 4-5 vehicles, 6 maps. Not to mention 90% of the time playing MP will be spent getting 1-shotted by snipers that don't even need headshots to kill.

It was more of a ragefest, really.

You have to have at least 65 minimally different weapons in a FPS for it to be worthwhile.

The outfitting of the Koreans using mostly western weapons(M4,M249,etc) came off as lazy on the part of the developers and was ridiculous.

Ugh, this a huge no-no for me...
You can't have a semi-automatic sniper rifle with no scope sway and one-shot kills. >.<
If it's one-shot kills then it shouldn't be semi-automatic and/or have a scope sway, or the other way around where you have to get at least 2 or three body shots for a kill.

Better than 10 minimally different weapons.

Also, the sounds are a big turnoff for me. Some weapons sound pathetic.

@Prefetian: Well, the semi-auto needs to hit above the chest to 1-shot. The bolt-action however will 1-shot no matter where you hit, and it's very easy to use.

I finished the game with no issues(had distorted sound before using crackfix v2).
Homefront (rip)-ultra + crackfix v2 (or you can use the homefront-pirategay fix with the ultra rip release).

I downloaded two things: The 2.78 gigs rip and the ammo + sound fix, both of which I found at a certain Pirate torrent site (yeah, yeah, sue me but it works Very Happy). I installed the rip, patched it with the fix, and played through the game in one sitting.
