playing as uesugi . 51th turn, no error messages and no problems with quick loading, or just regular loading

My game would always break after 4 or 5 turns. With the new Patch 2, I've currently just been turtling and gone through about 15 turns, saving and loading a quick save and loading an autosave every other turn just to see if it works. So far... it has been working perfectly. I think I may even trust it enough to play a full campaign now.

Played 28 hours already and it's really good overall.
The AI seems to have an issue when sieging sometimes where it has units just standing around doing nothing after an initial assault fails which creates awkward situations where he doesn't attack me but I can't attack him either because he'll kill me if I give up my defender's advantage. Other than that it's definitely improved. The AI uses archers almost too well (oh god archers huuuuurt), likes flanking with cavalry and doesn't shy away from repositioning the whole army to get an advantageous spot when you try to move in from a flank. Pretty challenging overall and no suicidal generals.
I'm playing on hard as the Shimazu and it's giving me a tough time, not sure I'll be able to complete the victory conditions in time as I've reached a certain threshold where everyone starts turning against you. It's not as bad as I've read though where the reviewer said it's like a switch where everyone suddenly declares war on you.
Instead, you get a warning that you're at that threshold and then all other clans get negative relations with your clan that build up over time.
So while the ones that were on the edge of declaring war on you will do so pretty damn quick, your allies will stick to you much longer and you can even prolong your friendship with them by gifting them money or marrying off one of your princesses.
I found that quite important so far to give me time to clean up affairs before my allies backstab me.
I really like how there's so much specialization going on with the city development.
Experience, range, defense, accuracy, attack, etc, all of those stats can vary greatly for each unit type from city to city depending on the natural resources and your decisions.
One city might produce Warrior Monk Archers with +4 experience and +10 accuracy while in another city you might get the same unit with +3 experience and +4 defense at a 20% lower cost.
This customization really offsets the reduced amount of unit types in shogun 2 compared to other recent total war games.
Alright it's time to conquer japan... wish me luck against the Date and Uesugi clans!
ps: don't upgrade castles lightly.. if you get yourself into a food shortage things can spiral out of control easily.

No problem here with v2 crack. After 10 hours play not a single crash or bug.
AI is much better (both campaign and battle)than in pervious total war games.

Special Announcement
=====================
Release #1000
Two boys sit on a train, in rural areas of a low density populated part
of the world. There and then they form a pact that will forever change
the course of the computer industry, marking a shift in culture that is
soon to reach far and beyond their own expectations, and the horizon of
their own vision. There and then, the group FairLight was born
April 1987 was the year when the infant was conceived. The infant is
now a grown man at the age of 23 who made significant impressions on
Commodore 64, Amiga, Super Nintendo and the PC scenes, both for demo and
cracks. Today we celebrate a historic day, a day few people would even
envisage could ever come - FairLight celebrates it's 1000th release
Well, this is naturally not entirely correct, it's release #1000 on
PC ISO which followed hundreds of on C64, Amiga, SNES and earlier
PC floppy scene appearing in parallel, or the dozens of mind boggling demos
ever seen on most consumer hardware. So, rejoice and celebrate today as you
are one of those who can taste yet another fruit, resulting from our
blood, sweat and skills. Hours, days, weeks and months have been spent
- both screen time and in some cases also prison time, for you to enjoy our
work. Rejoice and celebrate with us, the efforts earning your respect. We
are still here we are still the sentinels of a world free of copy
protections. We are still here as we were built stronger to last longer.
We are FairLight, standing up for quality, tradition and pride
The FairLight council stands with eyes wet in admiration from the work
of the PC ISO section. "Boys, you have all done well. You bow to no one"
We are proud to be the first gameISO group reaching #1000 gameISO releases
FairLight started the gameISO division in late 1998 and is still going
For your pleasure, check the FairLight dir for all the #1000 nfo's, and the
releases.txt for all the game releases both in the included zip-file.
Special thanks to our lost/retired members that made this possible
In April 2012 we will celebrate our 25th anniversary. Stay tuned

Now I'd like to know if it works in Lan mode. I know that the retail steam version does and I gonna buy it next week anyway. But since I'm on a 100 people private Lan-Party April 1st to 3rd, that would be awesome if it's Lanable.
