Damn this game is great in multi player....having a ball online......havnt even tryed single player yet!!
The game IS great fun in MP and has a lot of potential, but imho it willl need some balancing though.
In GC I get spawn-raped, non-stop because the spawn points are fixed (it certainly seems that way).
Also, snipers need to get nerfed and/or limited per team. Some maps are just filled with snipers that SK you from the other end of the map.
And what's up with the performance spikes in MP ? It makes the games unplayable sometimes.
Gonna have to wait and see how it evolves.
Yeah the mp is far from perfect, but the developers already said there are more fixes coming. About the spawn system I have to comment that I haven't figured out how it works yet, sometimes in GC while fighting in some specific area (US zone, neutral or KPA zone) you seem to spawn several times in the same place but then you spawn somewhere else, closer to a different control point, even when none of the two factions has scored yet, which would end the game or move the action to another area.
Also, about snipers, what I feel that needs to be fixed is the semi-auto sniper rifle, it's too lethal at the moment, like you said one-shot-kills from the other end of the map, and if you survive the first hit the second one comes just one second later finishing the job. I've more or less learnt how to avoid them but sometimes they just keep spawn raping even knowing that the game doesn't award them any battle points for it.
Finally I have also experienced the performance spikes sometimes, lets's hope they get fixed with new patches.
This game is fucking awesome!!! I dont even need to climb the laddes myself!
The games does it for me with the press of just ONE button!

OK, just come to install this game. Graphics are still OK, not amazing but not bad too with all max.; the gamplay is a pure remake of Call of Duty series but the story is truly SHIT. So, I must say Homefront is a "normal" FPS for its kind but has nothing special. It's a good time killer if you are waiting for next week releases.
You fucking bastards, i have spent 30 more fucking minutes of my life to install that gay game + 1 gig patch + another patch + crack just to look at the fucking menu that is not working .
Same prob here, only thing that opens in the main menu is credits.
Ok ... so I played the singleplayer for a while. What the hell is wrong with the guy who made the lvl-design.
Its basicly run a bit - walk over a conveniently broken fence (ramp) which you cant climb back up /// or walk up a door the ai needs to open for you (unskippable dialog) - short 1-5 min action szene - repeat.
I have must have ran over 20 ramps or so ... in the first 4 lvls. I dont even want to talk about the doors the AI needs to open for you... after spouting out the great story that is -.- ... The szenes where you have to wait for the AI to do .. well something extend the campaign by 2 hours at least.
I can say that 'disable hardware accel' for audio works in XP, but adds a 1-2 sec delay
on audio (even gunshots) which makes it unplayable.
Digging deeper I found a common link with X-Fi cards on win7 that hadn't installed
SP1. Cant be bothered to test as installing the bootloader crack will mess my dual boot.

e: and fixed by dl:ing the 1gb update.
I just DLed the 2.45 Gb version and THAT'S ALL with of course an update of 54 Mb only. Everything is fine, sounds, graphics and interface, on prob' at all. The only prob' is the game itself
