theres seems to be a newer crack out from ali213, can anyone confirm that it works better? I'm using the first rls and i'm unable to quicksave/quickload, while others claim that this works flawlessly.

i think new version of CEG is the problem and some custom protection by Creative Assembly (save corruption,...)

I'm waiting for a real release.
I downloaded the main one out but i can't get past the install screen,. wants a key everytime.
Cba with all the shit it says is needed in the nfo.
Ryzen 5 3600 cpu@3.60 Mhz.
hyper x 32 gb ddr 4 memory.

I'll gonna buy it next week. Friends of mine are playing it already and it's way better than Napoleon and Empire and goes back to it's roots according to them.

Dude... You are not supposed to install it from the clonedvd, instead you need to unpack the whole dvd into your hd using a program like phoenix or sisinstall and then apply the crack. It works but its useless because your savegames will become corrupted when you try to load them.
So either wait for a proper scene release or just buy it. Multiplayer is nice.

That was in reference to using the clone release data for a legit Steam version correct? Do you do anything different than the Phoenix SID unpack? Not that I can get that to work - only gives me around 4.5GB of extracted files.

Theres a v2 of that chinese crack available. I have tested it for 2 hours now with constant saving and loading. Doesnt seem to crash anymore. But you have to start a new campaign, because you cant load the older saves

Can you help me how you installed your shogun2?
I followed these instruction:
1.Mount both cd1-cd2 to daemon tools
2.run phoenix- click instruments- update content (internet)
3. click instruments again - SID unpacker
4. click scan a SIM-file
6. choose Total War- SHOGUN 2_Ddisk1.sim
7. where it states HDD SPACE AVAILABLE- highlight Total War Shogun2 exe.gcf
Highlight Total War Shogun 2 data.gcf
Highlight Total War Shogun 2 redist.gcf
Highlight Total war Shogun 2 redist.gcf
Highlight Total war Shogun 2 English.gcf
7. click unpack (choose where you want the game at)
8. after a few minutes it will ask for disk 2- browse to disk 2 open it
9. it will take a bit and should ask you to do the same thing 2 more times
10. for mine it said there was an error and had to close
11. then go to the crack ali213.net-11gpatch158
12. run it and put it in the same place you installed it in..it will ask to overwrite do it.
13. at the end it has a few things the check mark...check mark them all and then install them
14. go to you game and click on the .exe and it should work.
15. my game lets me save will no issues.
16. Hope this helps.
But when i click on shogun2.exe nothing happens.
For me the step9. didn't happend and my shogun2 dir is only 6GB.

netshow has the 2nd patch up. Not sure if it's precracked or just the patch. I would imagine so though.
