Got to say I am really impressed with this, the mp demo was meh! but I am really suprised by the quality of the graphics. Gameplay wise its crysis nothing more nothing less, but compared to COD the freedom of how you tackle each scenario is great. The scenery of New York is spot on also. highly recommended and cant wait for my pre-order to arrive so I can try out the multiplayer properly.
All in all well worth a purchase imho

Anyone else having problems extracting the ISO correctly? I mean the ISO itself, not from the RAR's. I use Xbox360 Iso Extract 0.6 to unpack ISOs to my external HDD for my JTAG, but the extracted folder is only 292 megs..

Apparently you need to use Xbox Image Browser to properly extract the ISO =)

im debating on whether to wait for pc or not my pc is a duo2 1.8 with 9800GTX ultra, decent but not great. But my monitor is not as nice as my tv. .......

360 version looks really good, but even my not so great pc had the demo looking much better. Also It does not look as good as Killzone 3, on pc. So PS3 def still more powerful.

i really like it, great action. The levels are a little sandboxy (similar to DeusEx1) where you can take multiple ways to approach your objective. The AI on the other hand is kinda dumb and their spotting abilities are way to good, getting spotted when you are clearly ducked behind something for example. And when one dude sees you, the entire map seems to be aware of where you are.
Gfx are really good although a bit lowres, cant wait to try the PC version.

Yup, also every once in a while i catch the AI mindlessly running into the wall, clustered together.
Or have them respawn right in front of me, while im cloaked.
It's a pretty fun game tho, i have to admit the story has me interested.

Just grab the newest version of dashlauch from one of your regular haunt's and place the folder onto somewhere you can find it.
I run everything from a external HDD so i just put it on there.
Start up yoyr console and either use xexmenu or freestyle dash's filemanager (as i did). Browse to the dashlanch folder then installer folder, then click default.xex
Follow instruction's... done Smile

Ok, maybe a little off topic but i have a "PLAY DVD" shit once burnt... 2nd time since Bulletstorm...
never cared of waves xxx before; got a non-stealth firmware from last year, never gave a damn about it and all games worked fine since then.
patch iso w/ abgx, patch fw, both??? wtf i'm king of lost right now...
I was really waiting 4 this game... plz help!

reach gould's lab via FOR drive
whats FOR drive? Objective hanging middle of the sky. Is this game bug?

Guess it is a bug, same on xbox version, btw it's FDR drive. You jump down where objective hangs in mid air and go down the road there and it'll update eventually.

Been playing on both 360 and ps3 now for a bit. Have to say, the stereoscopic 3d support on the PS3 really takes it to the next level. This is probably the most amazing and engrossing 3d experience I've ever had.

Not been in here for a while, my old 360 died and I'm just waiting for some cash to mod my elite (sadly can't jtag it).
I've been looking at Crysis 2 and it seems to look nice but I watched one guys movie and basically he completes the level by using stealth and then hiding, recharging and off he went again, between this and the notion that once you are spotted everyone knows where you are I have to say its putting me off it?
Is there more to it than that guys?

PS3 draw distance and Vsync helps a lot , though i hear the textures are better on 360.
Overall nothing remarkable in terms of visuals.
Killzone 3 - 1
Crysis 2 - 0
