Just finished it --- and I loved each and every second. That was a magnificent piece of awesomeness and it pissed all over Medal of Honour, Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops. I'm not just saying "it was better" ... no, this game took a warm dump in the mouth of those pretenders ^_^ Short campaign (5hrs) but every step of the way was sculpted out of pure awesome.

Definitely buying this so I can check out the multiplayer =)

Oh and;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontlines:_Fuel_of_War
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homefront_(video_game)

Frontlines is set in 2027, Homefront is set in 2027. Definitely not a coincidence.

And;

Quote:

Kaos Studios announced that upcoming DLC will take place after the events of Homefront. The DLC will point out directions to a decided sequel taking place in London around the events of Homefront. Recently, a leak confirmed that there will be two DLC with three single player missions for each one. It was confirmed that you will assume the role of Robert Jacobs once again pushing the Korean army out of California. The second DLC will assume the role of an unknown SAS soldier with his squad taking back Hawaii from the North Koreans. This campaign will open doors to the Homefront sequel, which takes place in London.

played it and it was a awful turd , from mouse acceleration to derp design [i was able to finish this game with only firing 8 times now thats what i call heavy scripting it was like i was playing another shit CODBLOPS ] etc... auto skip but if you like POV_CGI_FPS_RAIL_MOVIES then GO FOR IT

and someone compared it to FrontLines a sandbox game that had more gameplay creativity then this turd... that person should be ashamed but then again both games where awful so she/he has a bad taste

I really don't know why people judge this game only by SP campaign. We all knew it will be cheesy fucking shit. MP is really great tho, everyone who have a chance should try it.

I havent even start a campaign

Are the updates necessary or the Netshow crack in itself would make the game playable?

After watching Leo's video I really want to try this game so I'm downloading some 3 gigs repack with the update and crack.

Should provide me with some laughs.

Might just be from what I remember but you seem to regenerate health way quicker than it should in that video, can't disagree with much else but I love the more dark and brutal setting they attempted, usually don't see it in games.
(Fourth level, trailer park area, was awesome in this regard.)

Ofcourse vehicles regenerate as well during SP (Like that bot/mech thing you use early on.) which isn't entirely accurate, hah.

Just adding my two cents here, I think the SP campaign of his game is very generic by today standards, not to mention uninspired. Comparing it with the half-life 2 campaign sounds to me like a terrible insult. I felt it was trying to hard to copy the COD heavily scripted/movie-style. If i was asked to choose a single word that summarizes this game it would be: PLASTIC.

Now on the other hand, I'm really enjoying the multiplayer which was the only reason I paid for the game. I never bought into the hype created around it. but the mp video previews and descriptions eventually convinced me of making the purchase. After some 9-10 hrs playing it I can say I'm not regretting my decision ***YET??? Very Happy ***

Of course the fact that I'm having a great time with the MP doesn't mean it isn't bad as well, I guess time will tell. Just for reference, other mp games that I've bought and enjoyed for countless hours are: Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, BF2142, ET: Quake Wars and more recently BF:BC2.
