Right, so to get back on topic: I've played the SP of this a bit, and MY GOD AT THE SCRIPTED-NESS. Honestly, CoD is pretty scripted; the latest MoH was a few miles below that because enemies didn't even shoot at you (I used just my pistol because it was too boring). This sits just above MoH. You actually gotta wait for specific moments in time or reach a specific spot before you climb a goddamn ladder or whatever.
I've also got the fucked up sound; it seems the game is running in 5.1 mode, even though everything is set to 2.1 or 2.0. Result: voices sound like they are miles away (as they'd be coming out of the center speaker in a 5.1 system), everything else is pumped up like crazy. There is also no AI of any kind, and if it is there, it's bad.
On the bright side, the weapons handle fairly well, although this game is still very easy on hardcore mode. They also sound pretty good. Unfortunately, they're also pretty much the only thing that looks somewhat decent, everything else has low-res textures and pretty low-poly models.
All in all, the SP is not particularly good. CoD is better in this department..
What exactly do I need to get the game working? (No, this isn't a request)
So far I have like an iso and some other crap...no idea what to use, read something about it needed to be updated with 1.3GB and extracted with pheonix. o.O
where are the saves of this fakin game located ?ive played with no probs 3 missions and now the game crashes at the same place in the third mission with some sniper rifle :X
Homefront looks like BC2, MW2 & MAG in one game...I'm sure it would be good if it wouldn't be a consolized game. I noticed something watching all those livestreams and YT videos - it looks like the bullets don't have an physics ?. Just AIM -> shoot -> 923829 + points // BAM! -> KILLSTREAK // BAM! -> GET OVERPOWERED VEHICLE // winning!

Now I have mediocre performance and really fucked up sound, where the effects and music are totally FUBAR so I'm playing with them off...the game sounds really werid with those off but at least it's bearable.
This crap is an utter fail as far as releases go.Bad sound and saves do not save.A bunch of useless band aids have been released and they don't rectify the problem.
People will always cheat at games or relationships or whatever but what amazes me is that people actually pay for these hacks.
I used to be heavy CS/Quake/Unreal player when I was a kid, nowdays I'm terrible at shooters but even dying 10,000 times in a single match won't make spend a single coin on a fucking hack.

Cheating in this game is fairly rampant, the problem is it's somewhat hard to pinpoint 100% due to the vastly overpowered semi-auto sniper rifle. You think it's powerful now? Wait till you get 49 (or is it 39) and unlock the 160 BP thermal goggles to use with it.
KAOS are a bunch of fucking amateurs that should have stuck with modding. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to fund them.

Well clearly the scene do. They don't do it for the torrent jockey, they do it to better each other. It's always been that way. They don't care if it releases to torrent sites, in fact they HATE torrent sites. At least that's the way I understand it.

yea...thats what they claim always, but i think that if they wanted to keep this compatition underground they could do it like that , but the fact that the comunity get the works they do and the fact that they saying on every release:
support the compny if you like the game buy it!
this makes me think that they would like the people to have the releases and to test them and to give compliments to the groups:)
thats what gives them the power to keep going and maybe to get into the history book of the scene...i guess names like razor 911 and FLT will always be remembered for goodies even if today things going slow, i guess that one of they'r main drive.

I hear you, but Fairlight and maybe even Hotline deserve it, I remember them cracking my first EA game "Skate or Die" on my C64 back in the Eighties..
Actually there is a kind of crack-fix floating around. Released today. Some people claims that at least you can adjust volume sliders.Didn't test it yet. Still working.

sound doesn't jump between loud and soft every time i go in and out of menus
doesn't seem to reset my res and settings every few reboots.
