Read on a local forum as well and he already has the game and said that SP is way too linear with dumb AI (as like it) but with a nice story AND the MP was called great fun.

Well, the game looks interesting for MP (I'm gonna wait with this til I hear from some of you here on NFOrce what you think about the MP part) cause hopefully it might be a diamond in the rough so to speak.
hmm the multiplayer looks like a mixture of mw2 and bc2. Judging from the youtube clip it's all been done before though.. and it doesn't actually look that good either..
Aside from the immensely better graphics, I don't think that BF3 SP will differ too much from the typical scripted formula that Homefront is adopting. The multiplayer part should be another story though, at least it's what I hope.
