well, i downloaded the zip
there are 2 files in the zip
SPLINTERCELL3.EXE and udmlib.dll
although one guy on the board said it doesnt remove activation, im gunna try it still...he didnt specifiy what it does - i mean, to me, i dont see any other reason to release a crack that doesnt do what cracks are supposed to do
unless its a fake - in which case we will find out
no one else confirmed whether it works or not
so im gunna reinstall this bitch...hopefully this will work
takes a good 5 min to install

That's fuckin hillarious.
The mod at those forums closed the threads due to "warez freaks"...a site dedicated to cracks. Who exactly does he think he's kidding?

well, unless there is some specific way of loading the game
it doesnt work
i tried running the crack before sf drivers were installed - didnt work
i tried mounting it + crack with latest daemon - didnt work
i tried mini image + crack - didnt work
tried alcohol latest edition + crack +sfn and sf - didnt work
etc
in all cases it brings u to a starforce protection splash screen
u have 2 options...automatically by internet, or manually by phone and such
auto activation, i dunno if it will work, didnt try it...considering u have to connect to their servers
manually, i tried 1 auth number, 2 serials
nothing
So like i said, unless there is a specific way to load the game
i have no idea what this crack does...?
maybe auto auth works? dunno, dont have a good firewall so i dont wanna try

The crack allows you to contact SF support by e-mail (using the generated key) and receive an unlock key for your specific hardware.

Would it be considered offtopic if I asked why exactly everyone raves about the SC series? Considering there's nothing else to do until a release.
I grabbed the SP demo yesterday, was pretty excited after reading all those "This shit's better than ever 9.0++++ across the board" reviews.
Come to find out...the same old bullshit is present as in the previous two.
All the below mentioned scenarios are on Normal difficulty, lighthouse demo mission (apparently first mission in retail as well).
Scenario 1: Standing outside. Pitch black. Shoot at guard from approx. 30 feet away (purposefully missing). Guard now INSTANTLY knows my location, and his first two shots proceed to hit me dead on.
What the fuck is going on exactly. Its pitch black, its raining, and these latin american mercs. with NO NIGHTVISION are able to peg my location from a supressed no muzzle flash pistol shot from 30 feet away? Yea........ok.
Scenario 2: Standing across from the bunk of a sleeping mercenary in that one fireplace room. The X is him, the O is me, and the ---- is the bunk:
----X---0.
Proceed to shoot him in the face, he instantly awakens and takes 4 more chest shots before going down. I was about 1 foot away from him on that initial shot, pegged him dead in the face with tight pistol crosshairs. Yet again..kinda a game killing moment (no pun intended).
I love stealth games, and I am TRYING to LIKE this series....but in the end it feels more like fuckin endless trial and error mixed with console moment bullshit.
I admit they added some optional paths/goals this time around, which was sorely needed, but it just doesn't FEEL right. Can't convince myself to shell out $42 on this. Anyone wanna help me change my mind?

It's not the problem of the game - be it cool or not. The case is to crack the yet uncrackable game. I don't give a shit about SC, I will not buy it anyway, but I want to see it cracked. Because of the principles.

Ik downloaded this version. Burned it with alcohol like the nfo says.
Disabled all my drives and installed the game from a USB drive.
But it's a FAKE. The serial in the NFO is the wrong serial, so even without any IDE drives and only a external USB drive you still can't play.

you can play... simply you have to burn the right way, the serial is incorrect because starforce doesn't recognized the dvd as valid. burn again with rpms active and play

Tried that also. But still it doesn't work. Alcohol does not give me the option to select starforce 123 with the burning options. Only the rpms selection is available.
